The time for the duel is upon us. More like three hours to the duel. Minos said as fear envelopes his body knowing fully well today may be his last day. He still haven't honoured his own part of the pact as he hasn't told Xin the secret of his transformation.
Minos finally gathered the strength and woke Xin who seems to be sleeping peacefully as it was still night time. Minos had been awake the entire night.
Hey Xin, Minos said trying make her fully awake.
Xin, if i don't make it today, the man will ask you to tell you the secret of my transformation. Please tell him to learn how to stop his ki. Minos said as soon as Xin was awake.
Hearing this, Xin was confused and hence had a lot of question but looking at Minos, she could tell that he wasn't really into this topic so she kept her questions to her self.
It was finally morning and time for the duel. Minos tried to convince Xin not to watch but she refused saying that ger future also depends on this. Truly, Minos was scared that he'll lose this battle and hence couldn't bear for her to see him dead.
Minos, was later directed by some guards to a big gladiator arena where he saw Decimus waiting for him already in his minotaur form.
Looking up, he could see the arena was filled with millions of people and he even noticed that the chief of Akkaba's clan was part with some of the villagers and looking at the other side, Minos sighted Xin looking calmly at him.
After a while, Decimus seemed like one something was not right with and immediately dashed at Minos sending him flying and crashing into a pike of metal. Minos was hurting from the fall, but immediately released Eren as he saw the minotaur charging at him. Eren immediately created a smoke screen causing Minos to escape the charge and giving them time to merge.
After the merge, Minos immediately channeled his ki and activated full transformation but the difference this time was Minos ki formed a thin line of cloud around his body. Seeing Decimus charge at him, Minos decided not to move as he was pretty sure he could stop him. Taking the charge head on, Minos was sent flying this time much further than the last. Without giving him a chance to recover, Decimus pounced on Minos sending a punch, a claw pouring out every offense in his arsenal. He picked up a bloody figure of Minos and and slammed him to the floor. Decimus moved to the weapons area and picked an axe and a hammer. He moved towards Minos who looked like all strength has been sucked out of his body and hit the axe directly in his shoulder and started to pound the head of Minos with the hammer. Decimus knew that Minos won't die from such wounds. There three ways to kill a minotaur; the first is " a minotaur will only die if his heart is taken out and no weapon even created could penetrate deep enough to find the heart of a minotaur".
The second is by stabbing the minotaur with his own horn and the third is by using cursed weapons like the Sword of Theseus.
With each pound, the people of Akkaba's clan heart was broken as they knew that if this man is killed, their clan will be good as dead. Amongst all was Xin, tears dropped down her chin as she watched the one she loves getting smashed and she is powerless against that.
Alright, time to end this. Decimus said as his claws grew longer and he stabbed Minos in the chest area as he looked for the heart. Immediately his claw touched Minos heart, a hot and powerful flame bursted out and struck Decimus destroying his body in tiny pieces but before Decimus could land on the floor, everything stopped. It seemed like Time just froze as the once noisy arena became quiet, Decimus body was still in the air, Minos said as he tried to stand up but stood up easier than expected turning his head, he saw that his body was still on the floor but he could move around.
Oh, so I finally died! Minoe exclaimed but stopped as he saw that although everyone wasn't moving, an old man among the crowd was moving. No he wasnt, he possessed an ethereal body like Minos.
You're not dead. I see you're the son of prophecy the first true hybrid of our kind. He said.

Minos still shocked by his ability, hastily followed him into the portal and they were transported to a place with dark skies and in the middle was a corpse of a minotaur with no head, only body with chains on his arms and legs.
Is that your body? Minos asked as he examine the corpse
Hell no! This is the first Minotaur to ever exist.
Why does it look so different. Minos asked as he spotted that it had a the normal bull head but unlike the him, he wasn't covered with fur. He actually had a human body except for his legs which had fur and hoofs.
That's why he's the true Minotaur. Unlike you and I, he was born a minotaur. His father had your name and was the king of Crete at that time. while his mother was queen Pasiphae. Later on, labyrinth was created to hold him as ge was known as the angered beast of Crete. Minos welcome to the Center of Labyrinth. Miklos said as he was prepared to reveal the secret of the Minotaurs to him.
As the first Minotaur, I know most of the answers to your question and I will try my best to answer all. Miklos finally said as he waited for Minos questions.
Firstly, if he's the true minotaur and he was killed, how did he become our ancestors or is it just because we happen to look alike? Also, if we are imitations of him, why did you call me the true hybrid? Minos asked all in a single breath.

He was killed by the Athenian Theseus by the cursed blade which you now possess. After lots of experiments, I was the only one that they got their results. though I was tricked but among the children the drug was used on, I was the only that became a minotaur and why is that, because I am a direct descendants of king Minos but I couldn't be called the perfect hybrid as I don't have the blood of queen Pasiphae. After i died, i made sure that all the research, developed drugs and the rest was destroyed but I missed one which gave birth to the dark god which u almost died fighting.
Your grand ancestors "Dario" case was different as he had no link to Minos or Pasiphae, one could simply say his fate was tied. Among all, he managed to learn how to hide his Minotaur's self and differentiate it from his human self which was passed to you through genetics. but alas without a link to any his minotaur was the weakest as it had no scent of a soul. His minotaur side was unstable.
You on the hand, are the perfect hybride because you have a link to both Minos and Pasiphae and you're a human capable to distinguish both side and unlike the rest of us, your Human side and Minotaur's possess a full soul.
Minos finally asked. I've been hearing possess a soul and not possess a soul, is there any special power attached to possessing a soul?
Actually yes, but I can't really tell you as am just a ghost of time fated to guard you kn your journey. Miklos said as the dark sky began to waver.
Seems my time is almost up, before you go Minos, you must devour the remains of the minotauros. The road you will lead will be dangerous, remember be wary of all, be good to all and punish with no mercy. Miklos said as his body vanished completely.
Moving towards the corpse, he knelt down and began to munch on it. Minos was far from disgusted as this tasted heavenly. Immediately he devoured the corpse. his whole body began to burn up before releasing a halo and Minos instantly vanished and his main body stood up in a hurry.
Opening his eyes, Minos saw Decimus body hit the ground as time seemed to be back to normal. Decimus pieces immediately joined back together as fumes Came out of his snout. Damn, he was mad.
He immediately charged with his horn as he got ready to stab Minos with his horn.
Using his fastest speed, he charged and stabbed his horn...
