While Weiss regained her bearing from falling/sliding the nevermore managed to do it much quicker than her. It was dive bombing at us and screeching loudly as I speak. Ruby was blushing madly while yangs hair was swaying a little after she stopped filming them.

I'm unsure if she's angry about her sister munching snow whites carpet in broad daylight or just about the bird. Pyrrha just hid her smirk and took two steps away from the duo while raising a hand "sorry I don't swing your way".

Weiss would have screamed "what way is that?!?!" If it was anyone other than Pyrrha but now she just looks down with a blush causally reloading her weapon. She then looks up to me furious while ignoring the Grimm.

I just smirked "don't be mad at me, you just need to learn to fall better and keep your activities to the bedroom."

"You!" She hissed which I greeted with a smirk.

"Or the kennel you sleep in, I'm not judgemental~". With that comment of mine she rushed forward with a war cry trying to shish kebab me on her weapon.

Before she could make contact I jumped backwards at just the correct timing. She managed to stab right through the nevermore that was trying to body slam me. With a *pssh* it burst into ash causing Weiss to enter a coughing fit.

I looked back at yang and Blake who returned to their previous behaviour of enjoying her suffering. I looked around half expecting the deathstalker but it was a no show. I guess it was really crushed under the mountain I thought with a shrug.

After Weiss recovered ruby walked up and said innocently "Weiss I know I said I wanted to be besties and that we're partners but I think we should establish some ground rules".

Ruby pushed her over the edge, Pyrrha caught Weiss who passed out frothing at the mouth from sheer rage and embarrassment. The 8 of us walked to the altar and grabbed some chess pieces. I picked "the horse one" under the advisement of Nora.

Ren is a master at sighing, when he exhales and punches the bridge of his nose it's like a painting with how refined the motion is. I can tell I'm going to love being her leader, she's like the hulk except with adhd! Or thor on cocaine? Both are adequate descriptions.

We walked back to the mountain side and greeted our examiners. Glynda was just repressing so much today; shock, laughter, pity, anger. Mainly those are because of us. Ozpin just has a smile on his face while sipping his wizard juice.

If he reincarnates into a new body and it doesn't lose its virginity by the age of 30 that means he's rechristened as a wizard right? So by now he's a grand sage with all those titles. As I thought that I saw him look at me suspiciously.

I just deadpanned as he congratulated us and pointed us towards the auditorium. On the way yang spoke up. " didn't this seem a little to easy to anyone? Back at signal the exams where wayyyyyyy harder".

Ren spoke up "I concur but then again that nevermore would have been rather formidable if not for mrs schnees..... intervention".

Blake coughed stifling a chuckle while the rest of us smiled. Ruby approached me and elbowed me to gain my attention.

"Your weapons are awesome! Those arrow configurations must have cost a fortune, not to mention your shield and your pistol."

I shrugged "your scythe probably cost a pretty penny too".

"Nah I have an uncle who likes to get black out drunk and make questionable purchases frequently. Gun parts and plutonium isn't the strangest thing he has ever bought".

You can get plutonium?!?! Note to self, check where ruby shops. Ruby asks "so how do you think teams will be assigned?"

"Hmm probably by the order we met up or based on Ozpin's discretion. Some pairs may have never spotted anyone so he might pair them with a complimentary skillset. However I think he'll pair us 8 together in some shape or form".

She chuckled " oh maybe it'll be me and Weiss with you and Pyrrha. We'll be team ASPR! Asparagus!"

"I'm not being named after a vegetable, Aspiration seemed cooler to me." I commented to which she nodded.

We just continued to make small talk whilst we waited for Ozpin to arrive. Half an hour later he walked in with an injured future team CRDL. They were dragged off on a stretcher while he got on stage.

He tapped to mic and began speaking "apologies, those students encounter a large deathstalker. Their injuries will prevent them from attending this year as they failed to grab a relic."

I fist pumped quietly aboht hit having to deal with a racist jock stereo type. Had a few in my first life, all they ever talked about was sports, cars and bitches. Kinda struggled with those topics a little. I was upto date with football and basketball but when they started talking about tennis and cricket I just completely rolled over. Cars were also a no go with me, I wasn't looking to get a grease monkey so I never really went in-depth.

As for all the bitches in my school, I sampled one or two and they weren't anything bragging about. Yang is kinda like a badass version of what they were like minus the bodacious figure.

While I was thinking about that Ozpin called out " lie Ren, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos and Jaune Arc will form team JNPR lead by Mr Arc".

Everyone began clapping as Ozpin showed clips of us on the screen. Ah! I should have paid attention so I could observe what the potential competition are capable of.

"Lastly! Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long will form team RWBY led by Miss Rose!"

I clapped for them while Weiss looked indignant about not being selected leader. I Amped my senses and overheard Blake day to Weiss "cheer up, I know that you normally would be on top of Ruby but this could be a nice change of pace".

*thud* Weiss passed out frothing from rage again, Blake seems a lot trollier than canon and I love it~. Yang picked up her teammate and we all walked towards the dorms.

First years were staying at the west wing this year, the 8 of us had the final two rooms on the 9th floor. As we walked Nora grew excited about how our door had our team initials engraved on it in bronze.

After entering we were greeted with a barren room with only two desks and four army style beds. I sighed and turned to my teammates.

"Guys I know the rook could use decorating but I feel we should wait until after classes tomorrow cause I'm a little fatigued after today's activities. Ren and Nora, you guys are a couple so you can push your beds together and stay on the right side whilst I and Pyrrha take the left."

My comment made Nora blushes while Ren smiles lightly and replied "I can see the logic behind it, thank you for your consideration leader".

"Just call me Jaune, we're all going to be together for a long time after all. In my bag I have some tech bed curtains. They're sound proof and obscure what happens inside, I figured some people would like them and asked one of my sisters to make it."

Nora blushes some more but Looks at Ren with the eyes of a predator. He shivers before saying "much appreciated Jaune".

Pyrrha comes up behind me and whispers in my ear "very much appreciated~ tomorrow night we'll have to test them out~".

She said before walking towards the bathroom whilst swaying her hips. Damn it she's blue balling me right now. I sighed and went towards my bag to fetch my sleep wear. One nights sleep on these basic ass beds shouldn't be bad but I need my own pillow. Never leave home without my big pillow, I hate going to hotels and only having that paper thin pillow with no neck support at all.

After Pyrrha comes out of the bathroom accompanied by some steam from the shower with her hair down she points inside. "The water pressure and temperatures are amazing! I think it's designed for reptile faunus with scales and people with defensive semblances."

Oh that does sounds nice, Pyrrha approaches me again "the bath could also fit three or four people~ shame Arslan isn't here yet".

If we weren't infront of company I'd smack that cocky ass of hers.
