Chapter 70: Realized my mistakes.

After mom left, I stood up too and ran to my room not listening to Elena's call from behind. I opened my door and laid flat on the bed. I wept..

The door opened and I didn't care to look at the door but I knew who was at the door. "Go away." I said.

"Go away?." The male voice asked, and I quickly raised up my face to see Ethan walking into the room. My heart skipped and I wiped my tears away then sat up.

"What are you doing here?." I asked, shifting back so that my back was resting against the bed board. He looked up, "Aren't you happy to see me?." He asked back and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Never mind. What was that all about?. I just came in to see you talking to Elena and running upstairs in tears." I raised my brows. He was there the whole time.

"Actually mom caught me and almost killed me." He bursted into laughter. I glare at him, "Are you serious?. I thought you must have been dead by now." He said.

"Nothing stays hidden for long. Well, does it mean you don't have my stuff?." He questioned.

I went closer to the drawer and picked out some dollars, I dropped it on the bed. "Here's your refund. " I said and folded my hands. He scoffed before putting his hand into his pocket and brought out a white small bag. My eyes pecked up when I saw what was inside "I'm relieved I have some left. You wanna take it?." My eyes widened and I looked away. The urge to grab the bag from him evolved me.

"Wow. Okay. I'm just gonna flush this off and come back to you, " He said and walked into my bathroom. I was surprised and perplexed. I wonder what was going on with him.

He walked in back and sat on the bed. "I know I've been a horrible person too. I also realized that all these aren't gonna take me anywhere. I also wanted to focus on the war, maybe I might be of help to anyone around here. Immediately I heard the news of your sudden change, I came. I wanted to test you earlier and see if you'd changed and true to their words, you've really changed. Now, what's bothering you?, my love."

My heart leaped when he called me that. "My mom refuses to talk to me. I guess I'm all alone now."

"It's gonna be fine. She'll come around, no mother ignores her child for a long time. My mom's a living testimony to that." He chuckled while I smiled.

"Ah..what about your dad?. " He asked and I frowned, remembering what happened between mom and dad.

"My dad came home from his trip to pick up his things. He said he had another family somewhere so it was just me, mom and...Elena. Mom said it was best he left and I also think mom didn't like my dad. Clearly, her mate was my step brother's dad. That was the last I heard from him." I narrated. It wasn't like anything to me, the fact was that I was never close to my parents then but I do see reasons why I care about mom.

I can now see all she had done for me, the morals and all. I could see what it takes to lose a mother. I was so stupid..

"I'm here for you. Sadly I've not felt too connected to my parents either. My dad was a stupid mate to my mom. He is a human who got useless and that was why mom left him when she found she was pregnant for him. Meanwhile left me alone with him. At 16, mom came and took me away from him but that useless lifestyle couldn't depart from me." He smiled and kissed the back of my hand.

He leaned forward and planted a kiss on my mouth. I kissed him back passionately, he moved his hand to my neck and hungrily started kissing my neck and up to my ear, I moaned out of pleasure.

He hungrily walked his mouth to my belly and pushed up my top and then kissed it softly. "Ethan.." He called…

He stopped and looked up at me, "I'm a virgin." I said and bit my lips. He looked shocked and out of this world.

"You don't look like one." He said and I smiled, "I know right. But to tell you the truth, I'm scared to have this.."

"Have what?." He asked and I raised my brows. "Sex?. Oh please. I'm not gonna fuck you. I won't do it without your permission. "

"I guessed you changed me. Normally, I do not care who I fuck, but you, I feel you special..you own a place in my heart and I'm afraid I'm becoming to like you..what I feel for you is real. This time, it is real. I've fucked girls, flirts with some even with your sister.." I scoffed…

"Guess that's why she hates you so much." I told him and he chuckled, "I know she hates me, but I've fucked girls who ended up hating me. But then, her mate rescued her but now, I'm sincerely telling you that I like you." He explained..

I opened the door to mom's office and found her sitting in her usual spot. I knew she already smelt me but she wouldn't turn to look at me.

"Mom.." I called..

"What do you want?." She asked coldly. I swallowed up.."I thought I told you I never want to see your face again." She said,

"Mom, I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry for everything." I apologized.

"It is not me that needs your apology. What has that girl done to you?. Nothing, you just decided to keep on hating her all your life. Go and apologize to Elena."

"I've done that mom." I said. "I'm not a fool, Julianna. I know this is one of your usual schemes to strike again. It's not working on me. When you are sincere, you come back to me." She mumbled and swiveled her chair to the other side.

I quickly ran to the other side and knelt in front of her. I held her legs and she pushed me off. "Mom. I'm really serious about this. I'm very sorry and I have changed too."

"Time will tell." Was all she could say.
