They both shook hands and calmly the young man began to walk towards the door, when he reached it, he stopped. 

"Malcom, do you feel remorse when you use your treasures?" Ben suddenly asked softly. 

Malcom looked at him for a moment. He released a heavy sigh and said, "I feel… Compassion for those people, it would not bring them back to life."

When Ben heard that, he stiffened and nodded. He then waved goodbye. 

Skyler was talking with Violet. She was staring at her, and with some fear, she said, "Protect him. You can do it, clearly better than me."

Skyler smiled and put her hand on the girl's shoulder when she said, "He can protect himself!" She grinned and assured, "But don't worry, I won't let anything happen to him, I promise."

Violet nodded and hugged Skyler, and she walked away from her. 

Before leaving, Violet looked at Malcom and said, "I will take care of your mother. She will be back in two days."
