Assault on the Lair (1)

In the main corridor of the lair, Clare raised a brow as she watched the enemy grinning at her. He seemed happy that Albert had decided to leave and looked at the girl with an air of superiority.

"Black suits, black ties! You are Jonah's, aren't you?"

Clare seemed impatient as that man didn't stop talking, she looked at him, and her jaw twitched with anger.

"Do you know how long I have waited to kill one of you?" The mage asked with an evil smile.

"If you talk about killing me out of boredom, you're right, and you're about to do it!"

Clare said, letting her frustration out of her. The man glared at her, and showing his fangs he said.

"You are insolent! You are no match for me. I have transcended the weakness of a necromancer!"

Clare sighed impatiently and, talking more to Jonah than to her opponent, she asked, "Do we have to question this guy? I can't just kill him now?"

Malcom opened his eyes at the confidence the girl had expressed.

Jonah face twitched, before he said casually, "Yes, we are to know what he knows, so we will have to bring him, alive! Is that clear?"

She clenched her teeth in frustration, and looking directly at her opponent she said, "Junica is a Shaman. She could bring his soul!"

Junica laughed at that idea. "Well, that will cost you something, Jonah," she offered with a playful smile.

Jonah coughed, and then said, "Is easier if you bring him alive, Clare."

"Fine!" She sighed full of frustration and, looking at the man, added, "Cut it off at once, let's fight!"

The man smiled and, looking at her with superiority added, "So eager are you to die?"

And after saying those words at great speed, he jumped on her to hit her with his fist. When he reached her point the young woman was no longer in that place. He had lost sight of her, and when he looked for her with his eyes, he saw her in the place where he himself was before.

"I see! Inhibitor necklace and thunder powers! You are Clare..." The Vampire muttered as if he was thinking of something funny.

Clare smirked, before asking tauntingly, "So I am also known by the scums from the Church of the four?"

"Who are you calling scum? You have no right to call anyone scum ... you who killed your ..."

But at that moment and without having any chance to react, part of his head had been instantly shattered.

The blow that Clare had delivered was accurate and devastating, ripping the eye and part of her enemy's head without the slightest hesitation.

"Sorry, boss! I couldn't help but kill him, and he was very weak," She said towards Jonah, her tone lacking remorse.

Malcom who was outside was looking at her. Her expression was one of complete anger but wrath different from the one she had expressed until now, a fit of cold and desolate anger that alienated her from everyone.

Jonah was about to answer her communication when the enemy began to tremble and slowly rose to his feet.

Clare looked at him in surprise as the guy got to his feet.

He looked at her with his only eye as part of his head regenerated, she looked at him with surprise.

Then her gase turned into amusement. Clare smiled bright before asking, "Great! You re still alive! What the hell are you?"

He smiled as his body returned to its normal state and said, "I am a superior being, damn woman. You can't kill me! "

She looked at him curiously and said, "Are you a necromancer and also a vampire?"

The man gave a throaty laugh. "Exactly! I became undead, and now I can increase my own power with my magic. I am perfect!" He declared proudly.

However, just as he said that, Clare moved quickly again, and appearing behind him. The Vampire realized that she had ripped his arm off. When noticing it, he let out a yell.

Clare was watching how he regenerated with interest. "So you sold your soul, so you can be turned into a night creature to be stronger ... but you didn't even have the decency to be transformed by a vampire king," she concluded mockingly.

The man looked at her with a fit of almost palpable anger, and she, smiling at him, dropped the arm of her enemy that turned to ashes.

"You are not the first to try that, stupid ... Yes, it will make you stronger, but you must choose carefully which Vampire transforms you. If you choose a very weak one, your change will not be impressive at all," she said before Clare laughed as small rays ran through her body.

Malcom looked at her curiously and asked Jonah, "What is Clare's Flaw?"

"She is a farm of thunder. Her magic is always accumulating lightning inside her, and when she reaches a certain limit, she has to let it escape. That's why she uses the necklace to prevent her magic from being active all the time, or she couldn't avoid hurting people," Jonah answered casually.

Malcom opened his eyes in surprise and looking at the mirror, he saw how the girl smiled and then asked, "Tell me, why you didn't look for a vampire king to transform you?"

The necromancer vampire darkened his face, and Clare, with a mocking smile, added, "I see, you were too weak to became a vampire king!"

That made his opponent angry, and clasping his hands, he drew all the corpses on the floor towards him.

Each corpse that stuck to his body became unique as an amorphous mass that only made the mage body grow.

Clare looked at him, disgusted, and when he finished gathering all the corpses, his body was now gigantic.

He was almost ten feet tall, and her arms were extremely wide. He didn't look like a human at all, and Clare sighed.

"There are simpler and more effective ways to get stronger." She then attacked him.

Each attack that the girl caused tore off a piece of the body of his enemy, but it regenerated instantly. He tried to hit the elemental, but she was too fast for his erratic and clumsy movements.

After several minutes, the young woman said, "This already bored me."

Making her eyes shine, her hair began to rise because of the static, and looking in the direction of the Vampire, she was wrapped in a bolt of lightning and surrounded him until he was locked in a cage made of thunder.

There was not much the Vampire could do. Every time he tried to touch some bars, the pain was unbearable, and a part of his body evaporated.

Clare looked at him with grace, and raising her hand, said, "This is going to hurt you a lot, you piece of garbage."

And turning her hand into a fist caused the cage to drop in size, electrocuting and evaporating every part of his opponent's body that came into contact with the bars.

The mage's size was reduced to his normal height, and within the thunder cell, he lost consciousness.
