Chapter Sixty-Six
Upon arriving in the throne room, Ryanne was satisfied when he saw everyone gathered around the large table with perplexed expressions on their faces.
Quickly they jumped to their feet and bowed when he walked towards the tall chair at the top of the table. Despora had silently followed behind him, and everyone was giving her perplexed looks as if they did not appreciate her presence. But she remained calm and with her head held high, as she stood next to him. A brief minute passed after Ryanne scrutinized every face in front of him.
He was still cross over the events today.
“Report."
He barked, and Crystal quickly spoke after lifting her head.
"I have tightened security as you commanded sire and have dispatched men to search the entire Kingdom for any spies and betrayers."
