Chapter One
"…and the grand elf, with a swift move of his sword and a little wrist power, took down the mighty dragon saving Opwood and it's people"
"Wow! So cool I'm sure grand elf sir is so proud of himself"
"Off course he is, now children story time's over, time to go chop chop everybody"
"Miss Belinda?"
"Yes Starblaze dear? Did you want something?" asked Belinda the elf teacher
"Did the grand elf really kill the big dragon?" Starblaze asked pulling at the elderly elfs dress
"Why off course he did, you heard the story right?" she said picking up Starblaze
"But didn't the dragon have a family? Weren't they sad?" asked Starblaze
"Well maybe he did and maybe they were but it wasn't nice of the dragon to attack us, we're smaller and weaker compared to the dragons" Starblaze frowned hearing this and was quite sad
"uh but- but I heard that there's a princess, a dragon princess and that when she grows up she'll put everything back to normal okay? So no need to be sad" Belinda said walking out the school with Starblaze
"Really?!" Starblaze asked with a gummy smile
"yup she's still really little but I'm sure when she grows up she'll be a good dragon" she said putting a now happy Starblaze down
"yay! So the dragons will be happy again" she said jumping from stair to stair
"yes, yes I'm sure they will be now run along your parent's are waiting for you, go on" Belinda said pointing at an elf couple and a little girl
"Bye miss Belinda!" she said and ran off to her family
"Beautiful heart that girl has…".
After the ride home the girls went to their shared bedroom, changing their uniforms, and rearranging their bags, after that they started on their assignments.
"Starblaze ! Karla! Dinner"
"Coming mom! " soon after that the sound little footsteps thumping from the stairs to the dinning was heard
"Hey, hey girls you don't have to run to the dinning every time you know" their dad said as he came out of the kitchen
"But it makes dinner fun and interesting" Karla said as they sat on their seats
" excuse me are saying my dinner is plain?" their mom asked coming out of the kitchen with dinner which was roast, lambas bread, salad and rice… pretty plain actually
"Well… we didn't say anything but I think goddess Selena had something to say" Starblaze said earning her a kick in the shin from her father and sister
"I mean let's dig in I'm starving" Starblaze said holding her leg while her mother served everyone and sat down at her seat
"So if you're all done criticising my cooking, how was school today
"It was awesome, my favourite part was story time, the one about the grand elf" Karla said while Starblaze was stuffing her face with the plain yet delicious dinner
"Off course that story doesn't get old" their dad said
"Well it's rare to find an elf brave enough to face those fearsome dragons" their mom said
"Well yeah but there's a princess, a dragon princess, she's still little but when she grows up she'll bring everything
Back to normal" immediately Starblaze said those words her parents choked on their food, then their water, then air
"Woah! Are you guys doing a choking competition without me? No fair I wanna join" and she almost did but Starblaze smacked her hard behind the head
"Ow!" Karla exclaimed as their parents recovered
"Um Starblaze honey first of all thank you for that second how- how did you or where did you get the idea of a dragon princess" her mother asked
"Miss Belinda told me about her" Starblaze replied while Karla sulkily went back to her food
"Darling you can't and shouldn't believe everything you hear" her dad said
"Oh really, but the whole world believes grand elf actually killed the mighty dragon and no one in this generation was even born then to begin with" Star blaze said leaving her parent's in shook
"Good point but uh the you see the thing is, actually… good point" her dad stammered and looked at his wife for help
"Yes um yes you see, actually, you know" she didn't have anything to say so they both turned to her older sister
"What? Don't look at me I'm only 11 years old" and with that she left the table
"Welp I guess I'm free to believe whatever" Star blaze said and left the table too
"Smart child… She got it from me"
"Excuse me?"
After dinner the girls went to their room to finish their homework and get ready for bed but Star blaze couldn't get her mind of the thought of dragons.
"oi Karla" Star blaze called out to a half asleep elf
"oh she's asleep… oh well" she smacked Karla at the back of the head
"ow!!" Karla shouted falling out of her chair
"if you're done acting twilight bella then I wanna ask you a question" Starblaze said with an eye roll at the beginning
" better be good miss director" Karla said as she packed up her books
" what do you think about dragons" Star blaze asked, Karla looked at her in shock
"that's the, that's the question? Look Star I don't have anything against dragons they're really cool, wings and all but they're no reason to power smack me at the back of the head hawkzilla" Karla said going into the bathroom
"smacking you behind the head helped you experience your 2nd birthday" Star blaze said
"I heard that!"
Star blaze went into the bathroom soon after Karla came out
Still thinking about dragons she took a bath, changed and brushed her teeth then she turned to the window and saw it open so she closed it shut and went to bed…
After she had shut the bathroom window there was a tiny squeal, a poor hand belonging to a poor somebody was shut in the window, funny.
