Charles looked at the time and found that it was already one o'clock in the morning. He got out of bed reluctantly and began to put on his clothes.
He could not delay the practice of martial arts. Clement said that if Charles skipped the practice, he would not teach Charles anymore.
Charles had only practiced for three days. Compared to the beginning, he had made a lot of progress. At least he would not hit himself when swinging a long whip.
Clement was sitting on a boulder the size of a millstone like a monitor. Charles was in good condition today.
After Charles practiced for a while, Clement smiled at Charles and said, "Charles! You seem to be in a good mood today."
"Clement, how could you tell that?"
Charles felt that Clement was indeed extraordinary. He could break a millstone-sized stone with one whip, and he seemed to be able to see through people. Charles couldn't hide his thoughts from Clement.
