The next day, Rosemary brought Charles to the ward. When they pushed the door open, they saw Diana sleeping with her head on the bed.

Having been looking after the patient the whole night yesterday, Diana was so tired that she fell asleep on the bed.

Charles was holding a fruit basket in his hand. Seeing that there was only Diana in the room, he was very puzzled. He did not know where the other people of the Morgan family had gone.
