Crazy Witch

Ava was with Amelia and Hannah chatting and laughing when she suddenly felt a painful migraine and then she heard Lia voice saying "Meet me at the top of Misty mountain tonight and I will like to tell you something about Logan."

Misty mountain is said to be one of the most dangerous mountain in the kingdom of Aldia, there has even been rumors of vampires being there but the people did not actually believe these rumors because of their belief of the extinction of vampires.

"Ava, are you alright?" Amelia asked with concern.

Ava heard Amelia concern and said "I'm alright. I think Lia used a spell to speak to me."

"What did she say?"

"She asked me to meet her at the top of Misty mountain. She said she has something to tell me about Logan."

Hannah snorted and said "What could she possibly know about Logan. I am telling you right now that it is a trap."

"And besides there are dangerous vampire who are currently using Misty Mountain as their place of residence." Amelia added.

"If it is about Logan, then I think I should go and besides me and Lia have some unfinished business." Ava said. She had made up her mind to meet Lia and she knew no one could change it.

"I still think it's a bad idea for you to go there but if you decide to go then maybe you should let Logan know about it." Amelia said.

"No. I don't want Logan to know about my meeting with Lia, if he finds out then he would never allow me to meet her." Ava immediatly answered.

"That is because he is more sensible than you." Hannah said.

"I will be fine. Lia may be a witch but I am definitely capable of taking care of myself."

Late in the night, Ava climbed to the top of the Misty mountain alone and she saw Lia standing at the edge of the mountain and she was shocked at how pale Lia looked, she couldn't help but whispered "What happened to you?"

Lia gave a bitter smile and said "Do you really not know what happened? I drank the poison intended for my mother."

Ava gasped and said "You drank my blood, but why? Did you also wanted to become immortal? I don't even understand how drinking the blood from my heart will make any one immortal. I am just an ordinary human."

"Do you truly believe that? because if you do, then you would never have hidden the fact of how your injuries could heal overnight."

A hint of surprised appeared in Ava eyes but it quickly disappeared as she said calmly "Since I was young, I noticed that whenever I got an injury it will always get healed by itself and within a short period of time and when I told my father about it, he made me promised not to tell anyone. But that doesn't mean that I am special, I am sure Serefina is wrong, my blood is not capable of making anyone immortal."

"My mother can never be wrong. All her life becoming Immortal and being one of the Immortals has been her goal and I thought I could take it away from her but look at me now, poisoned and weak. I never thought you would try to poison the woman whom you claim to love."

"She betrayed me first. I trusted her, I was ready to do anything for her and I even got married to Logan for her! and what did I get in return? Her lies and deceit. She even brought you into my home to ruin me, she told me, she had no child, she told me that Logan father had force himself on her and made her lose everything and I believed her. I trusted her, I trusted you, but time and time again you both have proven to me that you were never worth it. I feel no pity for you Lia, because you got what you deserve." Ava said with no remorse in her eyes.

Deep within, Lia burned in anger at Ava words, but remained compose outside. She relaxed herself and said to Ava "What will you do when Logan finds out the truth? He will never forgive you. You should never have taken him away from me. You are not worthy of him and you will never be."

Ava gave a short laughed and said "Whatever happens between my husband and I is none of your business, and stop deluding yourself, when will accept the fact that you were just jealous. You have never felt love in your life and when you saw Logan giving me what you never had, you decided to claim him. Ava walked up to Lia and said "Logan was never yours and he will never be yours because Logan Anderson will always be mine and never forget that, you crazy witch."

Anyone close enough could see rage in Lia eyes, but that rage was immediately followed with a crazy smile as she suddenly held Ava hands and said "You are right, now I can't have him but you also won't have him. When a werewolf mate's dies, they feel an immerse pain and some even goes mad because of the inability to bear such pain and I will get my revenge by using the last of my strength and magic to finally get rid of you, and when your beloved Logan losses you, then the pain will make him go mad. He will become unfit to rule his pack and he will lose everything, and who knows Ava, he might actually join you because most werewolf can't live without their mate." Lia smile grew wider when she saw fear in Ava eyes.

Ava tried to free her hands from Lia but Lia grip on her was too strong "Let go of me Lia. You won't achieve anything by doing this."

"That's were you are wrong, because your death equals Logan misery and only that will give me immense satisfaction even though I won't be here to witness it"

Ava widen her eyes and asked "What do you mean?"

"With this poison in me, I won't be able to make it for a week and there is no doubt Logan will kill me if he set his eyes on me, So I decided to end both of our lives."

"You really are crazy. Let go of me this instant."

Lia smile and said "You can't set yourself free, I have use the last of my magic to tighten my hold on you, so goodbye Ava." Ava heart sank when Lia fell down from the edge of the mountain taking her along and at that moment she thought she was truly going to die. If she had known Lia was going to take her life then she would have listened to Amelia. Ava felt tears rolling down her cheek as she thought of Logan, she wished she had told him how much age loved him. As Ava felt her body almost hitting the ground, she suddenly felt herself in the hands of someone and instead of falling she felt herself flying on the air, hope bloomed in her heart and she thought to herself 'Did Logan save?' but when she opened her eyes, she saw a beautiful man smirking at her but what really got her attention was his beautiful pair of golden eyes staring at her as he asked "So you are Logan's mate?"
