Argument

It was late at night, everywhere was silent, everyone must be asleep by now but Ava wasn't, she looked at the door in front of her then she took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"What are you doing here? Have you forgotten that you broke all ties with me because of a man?" A woman said when she opened the door

With tears in her eyes as she looked at Serefina and said "I know i was rude to you the last time I was here but godmother I really need your help."

"Of course you do, you come to me whenever you need me and dare to discard me afterwards"

"I only said those things because of my blinded love for Logan but now I know I can't do anything without you. So won't you please help me?"

"Come in" Serefina said and when Ava entered the small cottage, Serefina closed the door with a victorious smile. Then she turned and asked Ava "What do you need my help with?"

"My marriage with Logan is about to ruin because of a girl who have cast a spell on him." Ava said as tears rolled down her eyes.

Serefina sneered in her heart but gave a sympathetic look to Ava and said "Oh dear, how did that happen?"

"It was my fault, if I didn't tell her to stay until she got her memories back, then this wouldn't have happened. But how was I supposed to know thatfshe was a witch." Ava held Serefina hands and said "You have to help me godmother, Lia has made a mate bond with Logan and I don't know what to do."

"I could help you break the mate bond but I need an important ingredient and I do not know if you will be able to give it to me?"

"I could give you anything as long as it is needed to break Logan and Lia mate bond." Ava quickly said.

"Including the blood of your heart?" Serefina asked.

Ava looked at Serefina with disbelief, she clenched her hands tightly for a few seconds and asked "Do you really need the blood of my heart?"

"Yes. Since you are Logan true mate then only the blood of your heart can be use to sever the spell Lia has use on him."

"Giving you the blood of my heart is sucidial"

"Of course I will never tell you something that might put you at risk. Ava you know I see as my child I will never harm you." Serefina said as she walked to a small table and took a little knife and a potion from the table, she gave them to Ava and said "Drink this potion, all of it and then you can make a small cut in your chest. The blood will flow out and your wound will be healed."

"Really? you are actually saying that if I do this I will not be harm and also the mate bond between Lia and Logan will be gone?"

Serefina carress Ava cheek and said "Yes. I can not allow anyone to take away my princess happiness. Although doing this might hurt but it will be worth it."

Ava looked at Serefina with gratitude and hugged her "Thank you so much."

"What do you mean you are going to break the mate bond!" Lia said as she talks to her mother through the blue gem.

"I have found another way to become immortal without waiting for Ava to be awaken." Serefina said through the gem.

"But mother...."

"But nothing, once Ava brings her blood to me, I will Immediately break the bond between you and Logan, however if you are able to make Logan marry you before then, I will see what I can do to help you." And then the blue gem light went off.

It doesn't make sense, I have already told Ava everything about my mother and yet, she met her for help. Does Ava trust Serefina so much to the point that she didn't even believe my words, is the princess of Aldia that stupid?. As Lia thought of these things she suddenly held a noise downstairs that disturb her thought. She wanted to ignored it but when she realized it was Logan and Ava voice and it sounded as if they were quarrelling, she immediately went downstairs and was shocked by what she saw.

Lia could not believe that Ava just slapped Logan. She looked at Logan angry face and gave a evil smirk.

"Ava!" Logan shouted in anger.

Ava flinched when Logan shouted her name but she quickly regain her composure and said "If Lia does not leave this house by tomorrow then I will leave."

"I have told you that Lia can't leave, she is also my mate and remember this Ava if you leave and abandon your pack then I will give them another Luna"

"Are you saying you are going to marry her?" Ava said with an hurt expression.

"Yes, if you leave Lia and I will hold a mating ceremony and she will become the new Luna of the Crystal pack."

"I thought you loved me?"

"I only felt that way because of the mate bond and now that I have the same bond with Lia, I feel the same way for her." Logan said without any emotion.

Ava looked at Lia and then at Logan with hatred in her eyes as she said "I will never forgive you, Logan Anderson."

Lia watched with a smile on her face as Ava left the pack house and then she thought to herself 'If you don't help me mother then I will help myself, if I don't get what I want then I will ensure that you also don't get what you want.'

Logan turned to looked at Lia and said "Ava is gone now and you can finally become the Luna of the Crystal pack."

"When should we have our mating ceremony?" Lia shyly asked.

Logan looked at her coldly and said "There will be no mating ceremony and also, I won't mark you."

"Then how do you expect the pack to accept me as their Luna?"

"That is your problem, figure it out." Logan said and he walked towards his study's.

Lia watched Logan back with longing, love and adoration. She thought to herself that 'finally this powerful man will be mine. It doesn't matter if he does not love me, what matters is the mate bond that I and Logan share. No, I cannot allow mother to break this bond, I cannot allow her to take Logan from me. I have always being obedient to her and I have always let go of whatever she told me to but this time I can't let go of Logan. He may not love me now but I am sure that with the mate bond he will start having feelings for me.'
