Episode 28: A Counseling for the Protagonist
‘Play cupid’? Interesting, but unexpected.
LAZULI MENTALLY SCOWLED at the System. ‘This is not a good time!’
But the System did not present a response. So, Lazuli sighed.
“Are you tired of listening to us?” Crown Prince Wisteria asked, unimpressed.
Lazuli, or Prince Kyanite, had his eyes wide. “No! No, no. I… I’m sorry.”
“Did you lose your focus?” asked Princess Leilani.
“I… guess so?”
She asked again, “All of a sudden?”
“Yes?” Prince Kyanite’s response still held uncertainty. His knees wobbled and he fell to sit on the white bed.
“Sorry,” he apologized once more. “I… don’t understand.”
And he didn’t notice the tears that fell down his cheeks and to his mud-stained white underclothes. Zeeno’s gray robe has long been separated from him since his stay in the clinic, and his subordinate had brought him clothes to change into after everything settles down.
