“I am not sure I can be of much help, but I have three shifters in my pack. I will ask them what they know and to do their research.” Alpha Zao speaks and breaks the uncomfortable silence in the room.
“You have shifters in your pack? Why didn’t we know that?
“Because it is not against the law, and they came to me willingly. I was not talking about them because some wolves still think they should be eliminated. I need to protect them.” As soon as he says this he looks at me.
I can’t believe people would want to kill shapeshifters, why? Maybe that is why my mother didn’t want to be here.
“I understand, thank you for trusting us by telling us this.”
“Don’t worry, I am showing reciprocity. You showed us your biggest secret as well.” Alpha Zao looks again at me and I sigh. “I know you felt like you were all alone, but if it makes you feel better, I will bring them here so they can talk to you and you learn from them.”
