THE TRAINING BEGINS

Early the next morning Xeris was woken up by Trizah but she didn't wake up.Trizah went and called Clara and Regaleon to try and wake her up.

"So you tried everything but she cant wake up?"

"Thats what Trizah just said Clara!But her sleeping style is weird."

"Who can blame her she was having a hard time sleeping last night plus she misses her family."

"Is that so?I hope you don't mind me asking your highness but what is her family name?"Trizah asked curiously.

"She said something like the Black pack so i guess her family is from the Black pack.I have never heard of it."Clara said.

"I have.The Black pack is one of the strongest packs in existence.Centuries ago the pack gave rise to the first ultima and the first Supreme alpha.The pack had unique powers that even surpassed that of the alphas.T he was chosen pack by Moonlight and Irene.But a few decades ago the pack members started disappearing it was later discovered that the pack members were slayed by the humans.The only standing member was a male by the name Darrell Black.He was the son of the alpha.He mysteriously vanished without a trace.He is not dead that's for sure.Recently rumors spread that he was seen with a female human and had kids by his hands."

"Kids?"

"Yes your majesty.The kids looked nothing like him except from one.A female.She had raven black hair,ocean blue eyes and the same complexion as his.Legend says that the girl is to bring peace back to the humans and the werewolves.But I'm not so sure it was him since they are rumors."Trizah said.

"So in short the Black pack is one of the most powerful pack in existence and Xeris is a possible descendant?"Regaleon said in surprise.

"Yeah...i am.Those rumors are not rumors its the truth.I'm a descendant of the Black pack but the part of me being the one to reunite humans and werewolves is not true about me.It was meant to be my father but he got killed by the same wolf that is now after me."Xeris said startling everyone.

"Is it getting hot in here or am i the one getting hot."Clara said fanning herself.

"Sorry i can control fire so when I'm angry i lose touch of my powers and something catastrophic happens...but that's a topic for another day we have a couple to put together."

"Couple?"

"Yeah Leon.Remember Lucia and Kreston. The engagement?"

"Oh right them.Sorry i forget some things.Why didn't you wake up when Trizah woke you up earlier?"

"I went out hunting last night for fireflies and i found myself chasing an antelope and killing it,at least that's what i think i did last night.I'm not so sure."Xeris said getting out of bed.

"Your majesties and the other girl,breakfast is served in the dinner room and the king and queen are waiting for you together with prince Kreston and princess Lucia are also waiting for you."a butler said entering the room.

"Already?But you aren't ready to meet them.We have to do your make up put you in the finest gown..."

"Did you say make up?I don't do make up like seriously i don't do make up."

"Seriously?You were wearing make up like yesterday."

"No Leon i wasn't that's my natural face.Besides no one will notice i'm not wearing make up so lets skip to the gown part."

"Alright if you say so."Trizah said walking towards the changing room with Xeris.

After a few minutes Xeris came out of the room wearing a wine red gown with matching shoes.

"I hate red clothes."

"Sorry Xeris but we don't have time to change.Don't forget you are injured okay?"Clara said leading the way.

The three walked to the dining room there they found the king the queen and the prince and princess waiting for them.Regaleon and Clara went ahead of Xeris.When Xeris entered the room she slowly turned around to leave when the king called her to join them for breakfast.

"How did you sleep last night?"

"I slept well your highness i struggled for a while but i eventually fell asleep."

"The girl is really kind and beautiful you were right when you said she could be a potential candidate for our Regaleon."The queen said with a smile.When she heard this she blushed widely.

"Tell me whats your name?I bet its heavenly just like your scent and you personality."

"My name is Xeris and thank you for your compliment your majesty but i should be the one complementing you for your impeccable beauty and wisdom."Xeris said in a shaky tone.

'Oh Irene and moonlight help me with this mad woman before she starts getting ideas that she shouldn't get.'Xeris thought to herself.

"Mother,please let her eat first i mean she looks uncomfortable with all those questions you just asked her and we haven't known her for a long time and Regaleon is engaged to Lucia."Clara said trying to save Xeris from her mom.

"I know they are engaged but Lucia never gave me compliments and she has never been sincere but her she is an angel sent for our dear prince."

"Honey listen to your daughter for once and let the girl breathe she needs to if shes going to heal faster."the king said holding the queen by the shoulder.

"Mmm...i guess you are right.Sorry i get overboard at times when my son brings a beautiful girl back."

"Mom!Its only this one time."

"Exactly my point.(leaning towards Xeris)between you and me i prefer you over Lucia her name sounds like Lucifer and i hate that name."

Xeris laughed nervously on hearing this.The rest of the family just continued with a normal conversation.Once everyone was done Xeris left the room quickly.She ran and reached an area where knights trained.She went to towards it and started to study each and every course.

"Hey i see you found the training course.I thought you would find the garden first but i guess you found this place instead."Damian said appearing behind Xeris with a group of males and females.

"Hi.I was running through the hallways trying to reach the room but i got lost and i found this place."

"Will you be joining us for training today Xeris?"

"Ill love to but i have to seek permission from the prince and the princess.Sorry Nana."

"Xeris!O h thank Irene you are alright.For a moment i thought you went to the other training grounds and....never mind that."Regaleon said hugging Xeris.

"Your majesty,i appreciate you being worried for me but you hugging me in front of everyone is not appropriate for a prince soon to be married."Xeris said trying to pull away.

"Honeykins!how dare you hug that wretch.She doesn't even have a high social class."Lucia said.

"My family pack is stronger than yours and I'm special to an extend i want to be killed unlike you where you are being chased from your parents palace in the name of marriage."Xeris said in atone Regaleon could hear which made him smile.

"What makes you think like that?"

"Maybe she's insecure of herself that's why she's acting like that because she knows she can easily be disowned by the family for the lack of respect she has towards the king and queen."Xeris said loud enough for Lucia to hear her.

"How dare you say such a thing about me?Regaleon did you hear what she said to me?"

"Sorry i dint hear what she said i was instructing my knights on today's training session.Sorry babe."Regaleon said trying to sound remorseful.

"I'm telling his majesty!You wont last a day in this palace."Lucia said in a threatening tone.When she left Xeris felt weak in the knees and fell to the ground and grazing her knee.

"Are you alright?What you did was brave of you.

"I did the most foolish thing i could ever do in existence."Xeris said in distant tone.

"Lets start your training shall we.Just follow the course with the others and you should be fine."Damian said with a smile.

"I'm not in the mood to do training with you guys..."Xeris said leaving half way her sentence and started to back away slowly.

"Get away from me i don't want any trouble from you.Its enough you have killed my family now let me go."Xeris said in a scared tone.

Everyone looked at the direction she was staring at and they saw a grey wolf.

"Oh no!It followed us here.Protect Xeris.Xeris don't move a muscle."

"Xeris?"Damian went to turn around and saw Xeris running away.

"Holy shit."Daniel said when the wolf passed them all.

Now Xeris was being chased through the course by the wolf when it started to chant some words which scared the hell out of Xeris which made her run more faster.After Xeris completed the first few courses she got tired and found herself cornered.The wolf inched closer making Xeris tear up and start seeing her past life flash before her eyes.When the wolf was about to strike a brown wolf came and hit it injuring its left leg.

"Leon get her out of here!"

"Fa..father?Is that you?"

"Get Xeris out of here before she gets killed.Do as i say or we will all fall under the mercies of Moonlight and Irene for not helping her chosen one."

"Alright father.Lets go Xeris."

Regaleon and a few other knights helped Xeris escape and hid somewhere they couldn't be found easily.Xeris went to a corner and sat there quietly and started crying in a low tone while saying awful things to herself.She started to sing a song that caught the attention of everyone in the room.

"What did you say girl?"a man asked approaching Xeris slowly.He was about to touch Xeris when she caste a spell that sent him flying across the room.

"Leave me alone!I'm better off alone!I don't want anyone else to die because of me.I don't..want to lose anyone close to me."Xeris said frantically.Regaleon tried to get close to her but something pushed him away which shocked everyone.

"Xeris!Stop this behavior at once!What would your father say if he saw you like this?"a man who looked to be in his late fifties shouted.

"My father?You don't know him!So you should save yourself the trouble of helping me before you die.I don't know why anyone bothers to help me.I'm just a human with werewolf abilities."Xeris said burying her face in her hands.Her revealing this shocked everyone in the room and asked each other endless questions.At the far end of the room they hear someone clapping slowly.

"I understand you more than anyone in this room."the male said in a deep voice.

"Protect the girl!"

"But your majesty we should protect you and..."

"Obey Dylan!Obey!"

"I want to be alone.I don't want to hurt anyone."

"Come with me or they will pay for your ignorance."

"I just said i want to be alone or do you have dirt stuck in between your ears?"

"I wont say it twice..

"Same as me.I wont say it twice that i want to be alone.Don't force me or else."Xeris said the last part in a scary tone.When the man heard this he just smiled and left the place when the king arrived at the scene.The king and prince talked for a while and called Xeris once she had calmed down.They talked to Xeris about her family and were able to convince her to start training near the mountains far from people.Xeris went to the mountains and was trained for a few weeks before she received a message from Regaleon that he was getting crowned.

"I just said i want to be alone
