CHAPTER 2:AT THE COTTAGE
Now Xeris had arrived at the cottage and was unpacking er things while she cleaned the place.Xeris enjoyed cleaning the room and lost track of time.By the time she was done it was nearly midnight.She took out the trash and had a light but quick dinner before going to bed.She closed her eyes for a minute and woke frightened.She was breathing heavily as she stepped out of bed,she wore her robe and went down stairs.She entered the kitchen and took a glass and opened the tap.When it was full she took a sip and stared outside at the crescent moon."One week from today will be my birthday.I wont celebrate it because my family and friends are not close to me...i just wish that the earth would open up and swallow me so as to end my suffering..." 'CLANG!' she heard something in the living room break.
"I told to be careful!"She heard a man say annoyed.She carefully took a frying pan from the kitchen and slowly walked towards the living room.
"Why are you so worried no one can see,touch so more hear us we are like ghosts."a woman said.
"We still have to be careful" the first man said.
They walked towards the kitchen and Xeris gripped her pan tightly when one of the men passed Xeris hit them with a pan.She turned on the lights and to her surprise a black wolf was lying on her floor unconsciously she stared at it in surprise she then looked ahead of her and saw some wolves changing into humans.She stood there in shock and started to walk backwards slowly.
"Daniel are you alright?"the woman asked
"Ugh...." "He is okay just in pain"the woman said with relief.
"Good cause we have a megatron problem."one of the men said pointing towards Xeris.
"She....can....us....she can see and hear us!"a girl said.
"What!That is not true she is a human for crying out loud!Humans can never see us or hear us and you all know that!" Xeris could not believe it so she took a glass and broke it.She used one of the pieces of glass to cut herself.
"Its not a dream!...its actually real?...no...No!No!No!It can be!It...can...be"Xeris before fainting.
"Is she dead?" a voice asked as she started to gain consciousness.
"No she isn't....and thankfully.What you guys did was reckless of you.You clearly are aware of the rumors spreading.
Damian has been keeping an eye out for this girl...woman...thing." a strong looking man said with finality
"So it wasn't a dream.You guys actually exist." she said followed by an awkward silence.
"So my nightmares will also come true?"she asked a lady who was on her left.
"I..I...i guess so"she said hesitantly "Wait what nightmare?"the man asked.
"Listen just leave me alone i don't wanna die!I don't want my nightmares come to life...i don't wanna leave my mother....i don't..."
"Geoffrey...it seems shes dramatized about the whole thing." "Are you sure Nana?Are you sure of what you are saying?"
"I am positive.My cousins older sister acted exactly in the way she is now.I guess the nightmare must be scary to an extent its affecting her and only Irene knows how we have affected her with our presence."
"Meaning?"a voice asked coming from the kitchen
"Ugh....I mean that whatever her nightmare was about it involved us...werewolves and her being able to see us has just increased the chances of it coming true."
"Grey wolf is coming for me...grey wolf is my death....big grey wolf is my end."Xeris said laughing like a maniac.
"For a human she scares me with her laughter"a girl said.
"You are not the only one Tilda.She has a vibe that is....dangerous."Geoffrey said looking at Xeris as the girls tried to calm her down.
'Shes kinda cute don't you think so Geoffrey?'a voice said inside Geoffrey's head.
'Shut up Axel!'he replied angrily.
"Tilda,Nana try to calm her down and bring her back to her senses that way we an get some information about the 'Grey wolf' and if possible about the nightmare."
"Then what?"Axel asked.
"Must you always give that sass of yours?After that we...I will go back to the pack and report to the Alpha.Am sure he will be pleased to hear about this information."Geoffrey said with an evil grin on his face.
