Two Gods (4)

"What's your point?" asked Alex. An unexpected sense of excitement washed over him. The stakes of the battle had just risen. Not to the point of death but to another destination.

"My point is simple," said Eric before shrugging his shoulders. "If I win, tell me everything you know about Gods. What are Gods? What makes them Gods? Their names, histories, temples… everything."

Alex furrowed his eyebrows due to the unexpected response. Gods… why? Why did Eric wish to know about Gods? Eric had figured out that Alex had extensive knowledge about Telos Dou Dromou, but he wished to know about Gods more than anything.

Only a few seconds ago, he'd been talking about the field of necromancy. How had that morphed into the concept of Gods?

And why did he think Alex knew much about Gods? Just who had he inherited his legacy from? And where did the unexpected interest originate from?
