Sense Of Belonging

On an altar created solely out of marble, a priest clothed in pristine, white clothing performed a ritual. With hands so fast they appeared as a blur, he quickly completed the ritual in mere seconds.

Then, a bright light blinded those who gazed at the altar. Suddenly, nine silhouettes bathed in light manifested atop the altar and the eyes of those watching narrowed.

Usually, several hundred silhouettes appeared at once, but this time, it was a group of only nine. They were the irregulars who had skipped the red area. However, as they appeared, eight of them seemed confused.

"Where am I?" one of them asked as he observed the place he was in.

A woman sniffed the air before concluding that the place was Telos Dou Dromou. "We're in Telos Dou Dromou."
