Demon Lord (4)

"A boy darker than demons," said Barzon. "He who baths in sacrifices. A human capable of mass destruction. I believed this planet to be fragile. Turns out we've got someone like you, a true demon, residing here."

Alex didn't respond and simply approached Barzon. He tossed the blue-gold pouch to Maxwell. "Sprinkle a bit on Evan's tongue. It'll be difficult, but he'll die if he doesn't escape the charm."

Maxwell quickly clutched the pouch between his fingers. He nodded, allowing the amethyst-eyed boy to engage the demon lord in a battle. Roxie didn't act and simply observed the seemingly absurd situation.

The child ran to Evan, while the amethyst-eyed boy walked towards the demon.

"A delight," said Barzon. "One who abandons his human nature. You're truly worthy of possessing the blessing of darkness, even if it is temporary. Your thoughts, your goals… amaze me."

"Shut up," whispered Alex. His voice was barely audible.
