"Are you really going to raise the holy team despite us having lost the chance to acquire it?" Sarah asked, taking quick glances at Jeff, who stood quietly behind Alex in a submissive pose. "It doesn't seem very practical when the only member is so weak."

"Remember, you all were once weak, too," said Alex as he broke the door to an abandoned mansion, planning to camp inside for the time being. The outside world was horrific, and they couldn't afford to doze off, since that would force them into a state of vulnerability, allowing others to take advantage.

That's why, for safety, taking refuge in a mansion near the outskirts of the city was the ideal move; at least, for now.

"Moreover, the holy blessing will impact his ability drastically," Alex muttered as he explored the shabby insides of the mansion, which seemed to be infested with several bugs. Sarah and Eugene gagged as they caught sight of the bugs, and even Maxwell, Jeff, and Eric displayed expressions of discomfort.
