The hollowed Jujutsu: Sukuna's arrival in Soul Society/Chapter 1: The introduction of a new beginning

"What?"

Both Rukia and Renji exclaimed in astonishment. The hollow that had posed a threat to them was effortlessly dispatched by the stranger before them.

"Who are you?" Renji, the tall young man with fiery red hair tied in a ponytail, questioned. Both of them gazed at Sukuna, a mixture of admiration and wariness in their eyes. His powerful malevolent aura was palpable.

Sukuna's lips curled into a sardonic grin as he shifted his gaze toward Renji.

"Who am I?" he echoed, his voice carrying a hint of amusement. "I am Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses—an entity whose force transcends even death. A name that once sent shivers down the spines of sorcerers. And you, shinigami, can consider yourselves fortunate to bear witness to my presence."

His eyes sparkled with a challenge, daring Renji to respond to his audacious proclamation. The bloodstains marring his clothes and the ominous aura enveloping him only served to emphasize his otherworldly presence.

"Could you kindly enlighten us about that creature?" Sukuna inquired, his tone laced with a curious blend of intrigue and authority. Both Renji and Rukia hesitated, their apprehension mingling with gratitude for their deliverance. Eventually, Renji mustered the courage to provide an explanation.

"That's a hollow."

"No need to hold back. Educate me, my friend."

Renji briefly explained, "A hollow is a malevolent lost soul that poses a threat to both the living and spirits."

"Ah, I see. So, these fiends are a common occurrence in these parts?"

"Yes, particularly in the distant districts from the seireitei—the Soul Society's center. Hollow invasions are more prevalent in those areas."

As Sukuna crouched on the ground, his sardonic grin gave way to a reflective expression. He glanced up at the sky, lost in contemplation.

'Ah, the distinctions between hollows and curse spirits... What an intriguing realm.'

The unease that had shrouded Renji and Rukia seemed to dissipate as they observed Sukuna's introspection.

Questions tugged at their thoughts. Why was Sukuna dubbed the King of Curses? How did he evoke fear among sorcerers? Was it during his lifetime? If so, why hadn't they heard of him in their own pasts?

Rukia felt Renji's grip on her hand as he signaled to retreat, taking advantage of Sukuna's deep contemplation. However, their escape was abruptly halted.

"Leaving so soon, are you?"

Sukuna's voice, as cold as the night itself, resonated in the air. In an instant, he materialized before Rukia and Renji, their progress thwarted by his astonishing speed.

"You're not going anywhere. Unless, of course, you have a death wish."

His chilling words sent shivers down their spines. An overwhelming malevolence exuded from him, freezing them in their tracks. In the face of Sukuna's ominous presence, Rukia and Renji found themselves compelled to obey.

As night descended, the ethereal silver moon graced the heavens, casting its enchanting glow upon the land. Moonlight, a delicate dance of silver threads, wove through the forest's trees, leaving behind fleeting silhouettes that whispered secrets among the shadows. In this mystical backdrop stood Ryomen Sukuna, a formidable figure exuding an aura of primal power. Beside him were two captives—Rukia Kuchiki and Renji Abarai—bound and captured, their forms contrasting starkly against the moonlit tapestry, a testament to the convergence of darkness and destiny.

"Would you care to elaborate on the intricacies of this realm?"
