AWKWARD REUNION

After Maya finished her orientation, she was assigned to the office opposite the Manager's own. She shared this office with Emily and Gabriel, but since it was her first day, she was made to pack the files in the Manager's office and arrange them according to dates to make it easier when the man resumes.
She was buried in work when Emily rushed into the office, shouting her name.
"Maya, Maya. The Director is here!!" Emily shouted, the excitement on her face evident of the feelings she had for her Director.
Maya raised her head and sneezed due to the dust from the old files. When she rubbed her nose, she asked, "I thought you said he doesn't come to work every day? What happened?"
"I don't know, but there's news that the new manager decided to come in early, and it's today!" Emily exclaimed. "Maya, your boss is also resuming today." Emily checked her watch.
