Irresistible Offer

Now back to the current situation of her offering a job…

"Really?…" Said Rena with a surprised look on her face as if she expected me to accept right on the spot and continued to say in a convincing manner "You don't have to guard me or anything. You just have to stay by my side and keep me company. It's a pretty easy job right?"

"No, I'm fine"

"Hmm...…..Fine! Since you're so adamant about it, I'll give you an exception and will double your salary. So what do you think about it now?" She said with a proud look on her face as if she made up a perfect deal which I couldn't possibly refuse

"I'll still have to decline"

"Huh?! R-Really? You don't want it?!"

"No I don't"

She was surprised I refused her ideal offer but didn't look like she was going to give up. She then put up her three fingers to my face and said

"Then I'll triple it! "

"Nope" I said with a straight face to which she put up for four fingers and exclaimed

"I'll quadruple it"

"Still not happening"

She then put up all the of her fingers in desperation and exclaimed

"Then I'll multiple your salary by 100 times and will give bonuses every month!"

"I-Isn't that a little too much?" I asked doubting if she really thinking about what she was saying as she was forking out huge bills as if it was nothing

"No, not really. I wouldn't even mind paying you 1000 times more then the usual amount if you accept to being my bodyguard" Said Rena with a carefree attitude

Wow, she must be filthy rich to say something like that without even batting a eye. I'm pretty sure her other bodyguards would cry if they heard that they were getting lesser salaries then a high school boy who just needs to keep her company and do nothing else

"No I'll still have to decline no matter how much you give"

"But it's a really good offer" She said trying to persuade me

"Yes it is. Rather it's too good of an offer but I'm too busy with other stuff, so I really can't take it"

"Hmm…I guess I can't persuade you after that" She said in a reluctant manner. "But you do know that you're missing a pretty sweet deal right?"

Well if she had given this same offer to someone else it would've been a godsend to them due to the huge salary. But that amount is really nothing in my eyes. She would have to offer way more and I'm taking WAY more to even interest me

I wonder how she would react if I told her that I have enough money in the bank to start a new bank. Well obviously she would think I'm joking. There's no way she would believe I have enough power to get anything I want in the world

"Yeah it's just not for me"

"Well the deal will always be open to you, so just tell me whenever you change your decision"

"Sure I'll keep it in mind"

We were now at the top of the hill and were walking into the school premises. I thought I would see Kondo Sensei at the school gate like yesterday and greet him but he wasn't there. Instead there was another PT teacher who was glaring at me as I passed by like all the other PT teachers usually do. Well I'll just greet him some other time

We walked into the entrance of the school and were at the place where the shoe lockers were, which were lined up in several rows. Since I'm a new student, the school would have assigned me a specific locker to keep my outside shoes. Now I just had to find it

Since they normally assign the lockers based on classrooms, I followed Rena to a locker cabinet in the corner with around 50 individual slots for the students

But just as I was about to search for my locker, I noticed that Rena was staring at a specific locker in the middle which I assume was hers and sighed with a look of annoyance on her face and told

"I wonder how many there are going to be today"

She then started look around the place as if she was searching for something and noticed something behind me. She then pointed at it and said

"Yuuto, can you pickup that trash can over there and bring it over here for me?"

I looked behind me and saw a small empty trash can near the the end of the lockers. I went over, picked it up and gave it to Rena and asked

"What do you need this for? I don't see any trash on the floor"

"Well there will be now" She said as she rolled her eyes

"Huh? What do you mean by that?"

"Just watch" Said Rena as she placed the trash can exactly underneath her locker and opened it and to my surprise a bunch of envelopes started flooding out of her locker as if they were jam packed in there and into the trash can which Rena conveniently placed which was like a water fall of envelopes

W-What the hell is this?
