Chapter 16-Big Mistake

"Ow that hurt!" Said the person wearing the hoodie as she was struggling to get away from my hold with all my might

That was definitely a girls voice and a young one too. That confirms she's a girl and not a man with a huge chest

"Damn bastard! Let go!"

And what I was holding on to right now was nothing else but her boobs. I should've guessed from her short stature and curvy body that she was a girl. Even her laugh was pretty high like a girl's. But the thing that throwed me off was the book she was reading. So a girl actually likes that sort of manga?

"Let go you shit head!"

No! Forget about that. I'm missing the main point here. Right now, at this moment I'm groping this girl's body

Isn't that sexual assault!?!

"You damn molester!"

I could go to jail for this. I don't want Kaede to think that I'm a sex offender. She'll think I'm the lowest scum of society and will cut all relations with me. I can't handle that! There would be no reason for me to live if she hates me

But I'm not holding her with bad intentions; I'm just catching a thief. If I let go just because she's a girl, she would get away with the money. So what I'm doing isn't wrong

For her sake, I decided to lower my grabbing position and caught her stomach

But that was a horrible mistake

She was already frantically struggling and badmouthing me, but when I lowered my arms it got worse. She managed to get her hands free and started elbowing me in the face. She hit me multiple times and it hurt a lot. She didn't hold back even a single bit and was hitting me as hard as she could. It was like she was pounding my face with a hammer

If it was someone else they would let her go due to the pain, but I held on to her in the hopes that the police officers who were also chasing her would save me

Of course if I wanted to make her stop, I could easily put her in a choke hold or punch her on the head which would make her faint. But that would be going too far for something like this. From the sound of her voice she seems to be young and young people tend to make mistakes like this. So I can't just treat her harshly just because of that one mistake. It's better to just restrain her and hand her over to the police, so that they can take proper action on her. I also don't want to choke out someone I was admiring before, that just wouldn't feel right with me

Although I said all that, I was also getting irritated with all the hits to my face so I said

"Stop hitting me, it hurts!!"

"Then, let go you pervert!"

"Who are you calling a pervert, you thief!?"

"Huh?! Who's the thief here?! You're the one who chased me all the way from there, you stalker! I'll report what you're doing to the school!"

Huh? She's from my school? And she knows me? But a thief is still a thief and she can't report me because she's the one who stole first

"I'm not letting you go no matter what you say!"

She then continued to beat me up and said a bunch of harsh comments

Where are the police? I've been waiting for a while now

*Distant police car sound*

The police! They're finally here!

I turned and frantically shouted

"Police come here! I caught the thief-…?"

I stopped shouting when I saw the police that I thought where chasing after me, catching another person in black and putting shackles on him

It looked like they caught the thief...Hmm? If the thief is there then…..

WHO THE HELL HAVE I BEEN HOLDING THIS WHOLE TIME!!!
