25. Breakup

After interview when Mahi and Yamini reach their agency. Mahi saw a familiar back, he's Karthik. Gleefully, she placed her hands on his shoulders.

Karthik frowned. He turned his head to the side and looked at her hand. Karthik swept his eyes across her face, and smile a little.

"Let's talk!" Mahi said with a serious face.

Karthik with a calm expression, walked toward his office "About what?"

"About you and Divya!" Mahi could not help but think that the conflict between the two of them was like something from a novel. She was the evil second female lead in the novel, the one who ruined the relationship between the two leads and became a hindrance.

Karthik could not help but stop in his tracks. He sneered "How thoughtful of you!"

Missing the chilling tone in his words, she said nonchalantly, "Of course. You are a dumbo, someone have to put some brain inside you."

Karthik face darkened. Not wanting to look at Lin Che any longer, he headed toward his office directly.

Mahi let out a low sigh before following him. 'He is really very stubborn.'

Mahi take her phone from her bag and text Divya to meet her in her agency.

"Why are you cold with Divya?" When Mahi reach inside his office she directly came on the point.

"I also don't know, I just feel like that day if she did encourage both of you to talk alone probably nothing happens." Karthik said with a sigh.

"what rubbish are you talking about. If want to do anything he will do anytime it's just that....Divya is not wrong she is just trying to help us out. she also don't know this will lead to what something else. If that's the case you can also blame me, I don't have to stay there alone with him." Mahi paled as she said, sighing.

"sometimes no one is wrong, just I'm at the wrong place at wrong time. How could I be acquainted with him? It's fine. Just let it go. You should wait for Divya, she'll be hear anytime. There's no need to bother about me."

When Divya stepped inside the agency, she bumped into someone.

She lifted her head only to see girls. They smile apologetically at Divya before continuing their conversation.

"of course she is still in Karthik's office." One the girl said. Divya stopped in her track when she heard Karthik's name.

"I'm dead sure Karthik is in love with her." another chilled happily.

Divya feel her head blast, who they are talking about? Karthik is cheating on her?

"I also think so, Karthik never talk with any girl except her." first girl said with a nod.

"Yes, but I think Mahi also love him but she always behave like friend. But Karthik always behave like he can do anything thing for her." second girl added.

Divya roll her eyes over the comments of girls. Divya don't know any other friends of Karthik except Mahi. He only have one friend Mahi, so offcourse they are close.

Divya move toward Karthik's office but didn't notice a pair of eyes is following her every movement. He have a small smile on his lips when he notice Divya's movement. she look cute in his eyes.

"Who's she?" He suddenly ask to the person beside him.

The person beside him got startled but follow the direction of his sight before answering "Boss, she is Divya your head Butler's daughter. I think she came to meet Ms Malhotra she is her friend."

That man called 'Boss' didn't say anything and left while his assistant follow him hastily.

When Divya step inside Karthik's office Mahi gave them space and flew away.

There is a occurred silence between them. They both don't know what to say and what not to say.

Karthik break the awkward silence between them "I'm sorry! I didn't have to scold you that day. If my reaction hurt you I'm genuinely sorry."

Divya take a deep breath before asking "if your reaction didn't hurt me then you are not sorry. Right?"

Karthik frown his brows and ask with a ugly expression "Where did this logic came from?"

Divya didn't say anything and start laughing "You should see you face right now it's looking hilarious!"

"you are saying my handsome face is looking hilarious." if you hear his first she is gritting his teeth.

"ofcourse for sure!"

"Of course! monkey doesn't know the taste of sugar." Karthik's expression is more ugly now.

"ok fine if I am a monkey you choose a monkey to date." Divya told him fluttering her eyelashes in a teasing voice.

"oh! my bad lets breakup." Karthik drop these words and left the room.

Divya got startle after listening those words and came back to her senses when she heard a loud bang sound of the door.

They both are teasing each other how come everything turn out like this.

When Karthik excit his office he bumped into a girl. The girl is not expecting this collision that, the papers in her hand flew up and she fell into a muscular arm. this scene is very romantic pretty girl in the arm of a handsome guy and paper are falling on them but that got so frightened by Karthik's cold face that she hastily sit down and started to collect her papers and left the place without looking back.

Karthik smile at her actions as he found it cute his all frustration flew in thin air. He looked back at his office door and a sigh left his lips. 'I overreacted again.'

Karthik open his office door, only to find Divya she still sitting on the same position where he left her.

"Sorry babe, I overreacted." Karthik approach Divya and sit beside her.

"Actually Karthik you are right, we should break up. You know this is not the first time we fight and also this is not first time you left the conversation halfway.

The only thing that is different during our this fight our friends got involved into it. That's it." Divya said seriously.
