The warm lighting brought attention to his long black eyelashes and the pale blue eyes beneath them. He looked at her with a taut expression. His free hand reached out to pick up a glass of wine and swirled the red liquid around. "Where have you been?" The deep Russian accent, that was tinted with anger, destroyed the silence between them.

The Beginning

[Beep! Beep! Beep!]

Victoria's eyebrows twisted with annoyance hearing the continuous beeping echoing in her ears.

Even if she was a CEO who spent their entire day working she still hating being forced to wake up early every morning.

Moving her hand, she swatted the area near her in search of her alarm. However, the area where her alarm normally rested was empty.

Victoria's eyes opened in confusion before quickly closing after a bright light penetrated her irises.

"I'm in the hospital?" Once she was able to open her eyes again, Victoria analyzed the room.

White walls, hundreds of wires plugged up to different machines, and the uncomfortable padding under her were all signs the she was definitely in some kind of medical area.

The memories of Luke killing her rushed into her brain and a fire of hope started in her heart. Did she survive? Her eyes widened in surprise.

Falling so deep in the depths of the ocean left her feeling hopeless. After all Luke's plan was absolute. He took her on a 'honeymoon' at least 500 miles away from any coastline ensuring that no one would see that incident.

To find her in time before she ran out of air? Wouldn't that be impossible?

Victoria reached for the remote on her bed side and flicked on the TV, to flip through news channels.

While her company definitely wasn't the largest, it was still well known in the middle of New York. She doubted her attack would go unnoticed.

The news should be able to clear up exactly what happened to her.

[Victoria Hill..] hearing her name her thumb froze on the remote.

[... ,the 25 year old CEO of the private company Hill Corporate, was found dead on Monday.]

Ice... a chilling ice froze her heart as she listened to the news. The picture of her face on the TV screen burned into her mind.

"Dead, why are you saying I'm dead?!" Victoria exclaimed in disbelief at the tv. The hand holding the remote had started to shake.

[Her body was discovered by a tourist on Coco beach in Florida early this morning. Eleven stab wounds were found on her body, leaving the police baffled about who would do such a horrific thing to a once promising bright mind.]

The remote dropped from her hand and onto the floor.

'I'm dead.'

Unable to process the information, Victoria lost the function to think. Her head slipped back on to her pillow and her eyes started blankly at the ceiling.

....

After an unknown amount of time passed, her eyes finally blinked.

'I'm dead, yet at the same time I'm alive.'

Still in a dazed state, Victoria brought her hand in front of her face. Now that she paid attention, she could tell that the hand was slightly smaller than her own. It was delicate and pale looking like it never experienced a day of hard work.

Seeing that she could move hands that weren't her own made Victoria feel sick. The entire situation seemed like it came straight out of one of those ridiculous science fiction movies. None of it should be possible in real life.

However, here she was. Living in a foreign body, defying everything she thought she knew about the world.

[New information has come to light about the death of Victoria Hill. Luke Edwards, Victoria Hill's husband recounts the tragic incident that occurred on the honeymoon.

Reporter: "Mr. Edwards I am sure that this must be a rough time for you, therefore thank you for taking time to make this appearance.

Luke Edwards: *choked up breathing* "No it's fine. America deserves answers... no... the world deserves answers about what happened."

The reporter nodded in a way that showed respect for Luke's strong will.

Reporter: "Then, to not waste your time, I'll ask you to inform the viewers directly about the truth."

Luke sighed before his eyes focused on the screen.

Luke Edwards: "Victoria was the love of my life and she will always be. She was also a bright star that brought Hill cooperation to where it is now using her mind and wits. However, like every person, she...she had her flaws. Victoria wasn't always faithful."

The reporter on the news gasped in surprise, however didn't speak to interrupt Luke.

"Yes, I know it's surprising due to how cold she seemed in person. However, with him, she was different. I only found out through their text messages, which I have already delivered to the Miami police department. I think it was that bastard who killed my wife after she ran off with him on our honey moon."

Reporter: "How about her mother, Diana Hill? She apparently disappeared on the same night?"

Luke slouched in a defeated manner.

Luke Edwards: "Diana knew that Victoria was going to leave. The night while I was away on my honey moon, she transferred 500,000 out of me and Victoria's joint account. The police say that her last plan ticket was traced to Italy. However, they haven't found..."]

Red. Victoria's sight turned blood red when she heard the words coming from the TV screen. To slander her is one thing, but to even frame her mom along with it....

The worse part is that there was nothing she could do about it. No one had evidence about the murder and in everyone's eyes Luke was a perfect person, while she always kept to herself.

In the modern world, with enough money, the media and police would draw blinds over anything.

Even if someone else doubted it, he could easily pay them off or simply ignore them if they weren't high up. Those he couldn't threaten wouldn't waste their the energy to side with a dead person they didn't know very well.

The brightly lit room seemed to become a dark abyss from all of the anger coming off of Victoria.

The rage that was stifled due to the confusion came back at full force clearing up her mind. Even if she was crazy or if some crazy science fiction sh*t had happened, Luke Edward... she would would rip him to pieces.

She would bring him to the ground even if it's done using the savage method of burying him alive.

Victoria's eyes were as dark as the deepest abyss with a hurricane swirling within them. Her heart felt like it was being ripped out over and over again from her vessels inside of her body. The pain coming from her chest made even breathing difficult.

It was the first time such unadulterated hate had infiltrated her mind. And the feeling was terrible.

Roughly clutching her chest with her hand, Victoria's heart calmed down and a weird calm came over her.

Her years of experience whispered in the back of her mind, reminding her that she didn't have time to indulge in her hate just yet.

Seeing a phone on the corner of the night stand, Victoria, picked it up and turned it on.

She currently didn't have a clear grasp of the situation so the searched the phone in hopes of clearing the chaos in her mind.

She started to scroll through all of the apps and pictures on the phone collecting her body's life inside of her head.

Looking into the person's life, Victoria's eyebrow lifted up. Everything about her new vessel was extremely interesting.

This person's name is Rory Haynes. A 20 year old kid who was bullied in college to the point of trying to kill themself. They seemingly succeeded as their body was now inhabited by her.

Reading the body's messages her eyes became cold seeing all of the insults thrown at them. People could really be cruel. However, why didn't the Hynes family step in?

The Hynes family is a multi-billionaire company in the hotel business. Not her favorite kind of industry, but the benefits are clear for anyone to see.

She never had the 'benefit 'of meeting a Hynes as their circle tended to think they were better than everyone. They were old money, her company even after many years of blood and sweat would never be in their eyesight no matter how much she made.

However, this never bothered her as it never affected her in anyway. Going to Rory's Facenote her question's about the Hynes family relation with her was finally answered.

Rory Hynes was in a terrible situation. It seemed like the family was in the process of picking a heir and Rory was born right into the cross fire. The family was traditional and as a boy he had a high chance of becoming the chosen heir of Haynes industries.

Victoria found this part very interesting. After all... her eyes wondered to the two medium sized hills on her chest... she clearly has boobs.
