The Awakening

Darkness was all I could see for a long while until a stinging sensation could be felt as I opened my eyes to see the bright lights of the street and slowly start to get up observing my surroundings until I saw the remains of a what seems to be a two story building and a group of costumed nut jobs looking like the— No F*ucking way. They are all dressed up like Batman, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman and many other heroes.

Now they are all really good cosplayers or it is the real deal and thinking of when I met that godly being before, definitely real. aaah! I'm so excited to see them but I think this ain't the time to Fanboy and and time to think.

Where in my mind does this scene happen, definitely not in comic or the movies so TV shows are next, not arrow or Flash so, ah ha! This is a scene from Young Justice, great now time to insert myself in somehow... not! as if I waste a wish. Time for a selfie though.

What I'm still a Fanboy at heart even if I don't agree with some of their moral code. So I boldly exited the shadows and went to announce myself "h-hello I was wondering if I could have a selfie?" as everyone had a stare down they didn't notice me and so they were shocked and troubled on how to deal with me until Flash ran over and basically talked a bit too fast for my taste and in the end I got my selfie and left with a smile on my face. Now to find a place to crash for the night.

And so here I am walking down the street and find a warehouse that will do for the time being until I find a more permanent residence, I then check the surroundings and find the place abandoned and away from the city in the distance. I go to set up my living space that is not much and and then I start to walk in the middle and relax and calm myself from the things that have happened.

I then tried to sense the shadows and control but I ended up with failure but I tried again and could faintly tug at the shadows around me so I kept at it untill I can control the shadows to my will and moved it around till I tried to form them into simple objects and once I succeeded I then formed them into harder objects.

After a long while stopped as the sun had started to rise and I am also satisfied with my current progress that I then proceeded to train my body by first doing a light warm-up and starting on some simple training with press ups and all sorts of positions to better myself.

Over the next few weeks I have gotten a hand of using the shadows to the point that I can reflexively use and surprisingly my magic does not get weaker in direct sunlight but it does get stronger at night. I also got quick cash by busting some hidden drug dealers and got ton of money for me to use for food and other living expenses.

I've also prepared myself with the suit that I asked for and trained with it as well to get a feel to it and to be ready to fight in a matter of seconds. I also went and found some odd jobs and somehow my 15 year old looks paired with my clothing got me put in an orphanage and I did resist until I figured it was pointless and gave me some stability in the life I will be leading.

So currently I now live in an orphanage, fight small crime for my own use and now have a proper identification so everything is currently going fine and then the TV reminds me of the world I was in when the news states that a villain is seen being taken down by young heroes aka the Young Justice team which reminds me that I need to get some favourable reputation from them or look good in front of them.

"Sebastian are you capable of stopping any mental attacks and someone accessing my mind?" [ Of course I can Young Master or what kind of failure would I be if I can't stop a measly parlour trick ] " haaah, just be careful as Ms. Martian is powerful in her own right, okay?" [ I will take that to mind Young Master ]

Good now I feel fully prepared, now to send a shadow crow to identify their movements and time to run from this place once they are off.
