Self-Respect

It wasn't every day that one comes into a supermarket and flashes his black card for payment and that meant Gabriel drew quite an attention because the people behind them were stretching their necks, trying to peek at what was going on. 

Zoe didn't know whether Gabriel noticed it but there was a subtle change in the atmosphere. Sure Gabriel was "annoyingly '' handsome but being wealthy was the cherry on the top and now, the women around were making subtle gestures to draw his attention to them. 

Some were batting their eyelashes at him, running their hand through their marvelous silky hair, or tilting their head to reveal their long slender neck. However, it was quite sad that Gabriel didn't spare a look at them as he was busy watching the cashier pack their purchases - precisely the ice-cream.
