The Battle with Vol Begins
Mia fell deeply into the volcano; she could feel the heat on her flesh. Before she hit the lava below her she started to fly and hovered enough distance away so that the heat did not burn her. Still she found it difficult to breathe from all the heat and odor. As she waited, she hoped that Vol would reach out to her soon.
She continued to wait. Getting annoyed that the elemental had not spoken to her yet, Mia decided to be the one to call out to him instead. "Vol! I know you are here. I wish to speak with you." Mia said.
"Dare you address me? The audacity of you have floated like a bee." Vol answered. "I see my fiendish rival within you. Do you wish for me too?"
"This, this is why I hate him." Aquir said. "Everything has to rhyme with him! Sure, it starts out fun, but just remember we are immortal, I have dealt with him far too long."
"Join you I shall not." Vol replied. "Acquire and I shall never be in the same pot."
