Chapter 97: Fairy Tail

"Dad"

"Hmm?"

Lucias said as he carried Erza, whose face was filled with curiosity, on his shoulders while walking the town, looking at the large variety of cake shops with a bright expression on her face.

"Are we there yet?"

Erza asked causing Lucias to smile as he placed her back on the ground, before putting a large hooded cloth on her head to hide facial features.

"We're already here"

He said as they arrived in front a large castle like guild with a large bell situated on top, surrounded by tall stone walls while the banner with the insignia of the guild was hanged below it.

"I wonder how Mavis is doing right now?"

Lucias muttered remembering the figure of the cheerful little girl that always followed him to learn magic like a duckling following her mother, causing him to unconsciously let out a gentle smile on his face.

"Dad, how many years did Mavis wait for us?"

Erza asked as Lucias wore his own large cloak to hide his features, causing Lucias to guiltily look at her step-daughter.

"... At least, an entire century"

He said as a light frown formed on his face, since he already knew Mavis' fate long before they even jumped through time. He already prepared himself to see her lifeless body in front of him, since there is a large chance that she met the boy, Zeref, which she was fated to be with.

Even though he did respond positively to her confessions before. He couldn't take her confessions seriously even if he wanted to since, he knew himself that Mavis will fall in love and give birth to Zeref's child. 

The kissed they shared in the past was nothing more but a mere memory. But he'll still support her every decision since she is still her precious disciple.

"Did Mavis forget about us?"

Erza asked causing Lucias to chuckle as he held her hand with a gentle expression on his face.

"Knowing her, it's very unlikely that she'll forget about us"

He said as both of them entered the gates of the guild, only to be greeted by a wooden chair that was flying towards his direction.

"Look out!!"

A familiar voice shouted towards him as he dodged the wooden chair aimed at his face, causing it to crash on the ground behind him.

"GRAY!! NATSU!! STOP FIGHTING!!"

"Oy! Somebody stop Natsu!!"

Various voices shouted inside the guild as Lucias watch them thrash the entire interior of the guild, causing debri and piles of woods to fly across the room while everyone fought against each other.

"That's weird... I thought this place is the fairytail guild... Did I made a mistake?"

Lucias muttered while Erza who was by his side was itching to join the fight, causing him to place his hand on top of her head to stop her from joining the ruckus.

"Dad, I want to eat my cake"

Erza said causing Lucias gently hold her hand as he pulled her towards the counter at the side of the guild, where a beautiful woman with wavy white hair and clear-sapphire was at, ignoring the loud ruckus inside the guild with a gentle smile on her face. 

"Hmm? Are you two new here?"

The woman asked as she saw Lucias and Erza sit down on the empty chair at the counter.

"Dad, isn't she-"

"Yes, we are new here"

Lucias said as he covered Erza's mouth to prevent her from speaking further, causing the woman in front of them to look at the pair in confusion. 

"Can I get you anything?"

The woman asked with a soft smile on her face, causing Lucias to dryly laugh as the image of the delinquent looking girl that he saved in the past.

"A glass of milk for the kid, and one beer for me"

He said causing Mirajane to smile as she turned back to prepare their orders.

"... She looks so different from the one I met in the past"

He whispered to himself as Erza happily prepared the cake that they bought on their way here, causing Lucias to smile.

"Here you go"

Mirajane, who returned carrying two wooden mugs, said as she placed it in front of them while Erza took a bite of the cake in front of her, causing her face to relax as a joyful smile floated on her face.

"How cute~"

Mirajane said as she pinched Erza's slightly chubby cheeks, but due to the hood that was hiding the upper part of her head, she wasn't able to get a proper look at the little girl in front of her.

"W-Watch out!!"

A voice of a man shouted as his body was thrown towards them, causing Mirajane to instinctively tried to protect them but was stopped by Lucias who chugged the beer down his throat.

"No need for you to do that"

He said with a confident smile on his face, as Erza quickly propelled her body upward before kicking the man at the back of his head, burying to the stone floor of the guild.

"..."

Mirajane looked at her in suprise from seeing her fast and smooth reaction, causing her to glance at Lucias who dazedly stared at the ground.

"Hmm? Is there something wrong?"

Mirajane asked as she watched Lucias release a sigh before casually catching a man flying towards their direction with his barehands, before throwing him at the crowd at full force, hitting the pink-haired boy as both of them crashed against the wall.

"That hurts!!! Who was that?!"

He loudly said as he threw the body of the unconscious man to the side before looking at Lucias who sat back down on his seat.

"Oh? A new member?"

He asked as he rubbed his back before looking at him with an intruiged smile on his face, due to the extreme force that he felt from that throw.

"Let's fight!!"

He shouted before charging at Lucias with an excited smile on his face, launching a punch at his face as Lucias titled his head to the side to dodge his fist. 

Breaking the table in front of Lucias before he grabbed the boy by his face, and quickly pressing him on the ground. Creating a large crater beneath them as the other members looked at him in astonishment.

"Are you sure his a new member?"

The man wearing nothing but his boxers asked while looking at the red-haired woman wearing a simple armor that covered the upper part of her body.

"I haven't seen him before"

She answered before looking at the man with a serious expression on her face, as both of them nodded their head towards each other.

She then quickly charged towards Lucias with clenched fist while the man ran towards his side at full speed.

"[Ice Ma-"

He casted but was stopped by Lucias he dissapeared from his place and appeared by his side. Grabbing him by the back of his head before burying it on the ground.

He then dodged the fast jab aimed at his face before punching the woman on her stomach, causing her armor to shatter as her body crashed against the wall of the guild.

"Oh? It looks like the newbie is quite capable"

The other guild members said as they all prepared to launch an all out attack on Lucias, causing him to grin as he threw the cloak that was on his body to the side.

"You... Lucias-san!?"

Mirajane shouted from behind as she recognized the man standing in front of the crowd with a confident smile on his face, preparing to thrash everyone inside this room.

"Come at me"

He said without fixing his stance causing all of them to prepare to bombarded him with attacks, but stopped as a large man suddenly grew in the middle of the hall.

"Stop fighting!!"

He shouted in a low and loud tone causing all of them to stop in their tracks, before he glanced at Lucias with a serious expression on his face.

"... Are you here for the 1st Master?"

He asked, causing Lucias to look at him in surprise.

"... Do you know me?"

"How could I not know the 1st Master's only teacher?"

He said as his form shrunk down before landing in front of Lucias with a friendly smile on his face.

"How is she?"

Lucias asked while staring at the extreme short eldery man in front of him.

"Follow me"

He said as he walked towards the stairs to the 2nd floor of the guild, causing Lucias to glance at Erza who was happily eating her cake.

"Wait for me here"

"Mn"

She hummed while nodding her head as Lucias quitely followed the elderly man up the 2nd floor.

"Did something happened to her?"

Lucias asked as both of them arrived at the 2nd floor, but recieved no response from the elderly man who led him towards an empty wall.

"You will need to see for yourself"

He said as he placed his hand on the wall, causing a series of runes to appear before splitting into two, creating a small entrance towards an dark pathway.

"This is?"

"1st Master built this room as a means to avoid contact with anyone in the outside world... except for her master and the guild masters. No one is allowed to enter this room"

He said causing Lucias to frown as this was not in the original timeline that he was told by the primordial beings.

"We're here"

He said as both of them arrived in front of a large door with several ancient inscription embedded on the walls and the door of the room.

"... This is..."

He muttered with a frown as he touched the runes with a complicated expression on his face, since those combination of characters that was carved in the exterior of the room was used only to create a seperate space and reality, and seal everything that was inside, allowing nothing be it mana nor any type of curses from escaping the room. 

"I'll be leaving now, the 1st master has been looking forward in meeting you again... I'll take care of the child in the guild hall while you two talk with each other"

He said before walking out of the dark pathway, without looking back while Lucias stood still with a tinge of hesitation and worry written in his eyes.

"Mavis..."

He said, recognizing the penmanship used to carve the runes on the walls. The same penmanship that he always saw when he was still teaching Mavis to manipulate ancient inscription by her will.

"..."

He remained silent before reculantly opening the door, revealing a warm and cosy room with a portait of him hanged on top of the wall, causing the lone girl inside to look at him with a soft smile on her face, but froze as soon as she recognized the man standing on the door.

"Lu...cias?"

She called as her pupils started to tremble from the overwhelming emotions that suddenly devoured her mind, while Lucias continued to stare at her direction.

Even after an entire century has passed, she didn't change for even a single bit in her physical appearance, she still had the same petite body and long wavy blond hair.

"Lucias!!"

Mavis shouted as she pounced on Lucias with tears at the corner of her eyes, hugging him tightly in her embrace before looking up to him with a joyful expression on her face.

"Lucias! Lucias!"

She called as tears ran down her soft, rosy cheeks, causing Lucias to snap out of his daze before caressing the back of her head.

"I'm back... Mavis"

He said as he closed the door behind him, while Mavis buried her face on his chest.

"I missed you"

She said as her arms tightened around his body.

"... I missed you too, Mavis"

He said with a guilty smile on his face, since only a few days has passed for him from the last time that he met her. But to her, she had to wait for dozens of years for him to finally return.

"*hic*... You're finally back..."

She said as her tears drenched his shirt, while her hands slowly clenched on his chest.

"... I'm sorry for coming back late, Mavis"

He said as Mavis slowly let go of his body, wiping the tears on her face with her sleeve before looking at him with a sweet smile on his face.

"Welcome back, Lucias!"

"Who are you?"

A demon wearing a black armor on his head said as he pointed his spear at the tall, handsome middle-aged man with crimson-hair and eyes, wearing a elegant white suit while a noticeable mark was visible on his neck.

"Zeoticus Gremory, I am here to meet with Xaosis-sama"

He said causing the guard to open the path after confirming his identity.

"So you're the new devil that Xaosis-sama, enslaved, huh?"

He said with a slight sneer on his face as Zeoticus entered the room, where a single woman was seductively sitting on the couch with two fallen angels heavily breathing on the ground. 

"My obedient little puppy, did you get the information I need?"

Xaosis asked as her foot stepped on the crotch of one of the fallen angel on the ground, causing it to growl in pleasure, causing Zeoticus to gulp in anticipation.

"I'm sorry, Xaosis-sama, but the forsaken faction doesn't just allow anyone to enter their territory... I wasn't able to obtain any information about them"

He said as he kneeled in front of Xaosis with a obedient expression on his face, causing Xoasis to sigh in dissapointment as the fallen angel on the ground released his semen on her foot.

"How dissapointing"

She said before signalling for Zeoticus to come closer to her direction, causing him to obediently kneel in front of her.

"Try to please me, devil"

She said with a large smirk on her face before opening her legs, revealing her redish entrance to Zeoticus who gulped in anticipation.

"I'll do my best, Xaosis-sama"

He said as he lowered his head in front of her entrance before playing with her clit with his tongue, causing Xaosis to sigh in dissapointment from feeling not a single shed of lust in her body.

"It seems that only Lucias could properly bring me the pleasure that I want... This boy toys aren't enough to satisfy me anymore"

She said before pushing his head away with her foot that was covered with a thick, warm, white liquid causing Zeoticus to fall down on his butt.

"An incompetent man who easily got controlled by my charm, how thrilling it is to see you're wife's despair after she finds out about the truth"

She said with a large smirk on her face before placing her foot on top of the large buldge in his pants.

"Take it off"

She said, causing Zeoticus to oblige as he quickly removed both his pants and underwear, revealing his small erect shaft, that made Xaosis chuckle as she played with his shaft using her foot.

"What a cute little thing you have here"

She said as Zeoticus panted in pleasure before Xoasis suddenly opened both of her legs, causing Zeoticus to look at her in excitement.

"Pfft- Men are such simple creatures, only he is an exception... I can't wait to have a taste of him in the future"

She said before pulling Zeoticus close to her with her foot, causing his shaft to come in contact with her warm, and moist entrance.

She said as she kicked Zeoticus, causing his semen to drip out of her womb before she pulled the fallen angel by her side.

He said as he quickly left the room that was filled with the scent of sex in a hurry. Leaving Xaosis alone with the 2 fallen angels.

"Have you calmed down?"

Lucias asked Mavis who snuggled in her embrace with a sweet smile on her face, causing her to nod her head in response.

"You... Mavis... I want to ask you something"

"What is it?"

She asked while sitting down on his lap, while Lucias looked at her with a serious expression on her face.

"Did you meet a man named Zeref in the past?"

He asked the number one concern that was bugging his mind ever since he entered the room. The Mavis in front of him had traces of the curse lingered on her body, and she wasn't dead, which only means that something out of his expectations happened during those years he was gone.

"Zeref? Do you know him?"

She asked with a trace of surprise on her face, before showing a bright smile.

"The man who shared the same curse as me, he was my friend, but after I sealed myself inside the guild to prevent the curse from hurting my friends... I never got to meet him again ever since"

She said causing Lucias to frown in confusion before he asked her another question.

"Just a friend?"

"Yes, is there something wrong with that? He did show signs of affection to me, but since I already have you. I had no choice but to reject him before his feeling-"

"W-Wait, say that again"

He said as a massive headache assulted his mind, causing Mavis to look at him in confusion.

"He showed signs of affection to me?"

"No, after that"

"I rejected him?"

Mavis said as she stared at the complicated expression on his face in confusion.

"Is there something called as the [Fairy Heart] in this place?"

He asked causing Mavis to look at him in surprise as she didn't expect for him to know that artifact that both she and the 2nd guild master built in the past.

"Yes, the [Fairy Heart] was made from the magic core inside the dimensional ring that you gave me in the past. We condensed the thousands of mana crystals that you gave me in the past and mixed it with my blood. We created it as the last line of defense for the guild, but how come you know about it, Lucias?"

She asked out of curiosity, as Lucias helplessly sighed before patting her head.

"Too many things has happened while I was gone... How about your curse? Did you find a way to expel it?"

He asked, causing Mavis to look down in dissapointment.

"No, the curse is far too powerful for me to expel. So I had no choice but to create a seperate space where my curse can't get out with me. I tried many different methods and magic that you taught me in the past, but none of them worked"

"... I guess that makes sense. It's a curse that can affect fate itself. I doubt any advance or transcendent rank magic will be able to expel it like that"

He said as Mavis suddenly looked at him in expectations.

"Do you have a way to expel my curse?"

She asked, causing Lucias to nod her head in response as her eyes suddenly shone in anticipation.

"Really!?"

"Yes... You can pick out of two methods... The first one is directly erasing the curse in your body using my mana... or I'll absorb it directly in your body"

"Absorb?"

"... It just means I have to suck it out of your body through a kiss"

Lucias explained with a dry laugh, while Mavis suddenly blushed, remembering the kiss that they shared a century ago before he left.

"I-I don't mind"

She said with a shy smile on her face, causing Lucias to look at her with a serious expression on his face.

"... I wanted to ask but... why did you waited for me for all this years? Many people would've given up by now, but how could-"

He asked causing Mavis press her index finger on his lips as a soft and gentle smile surfaced on her face.

"You promised, after all... You promised that you'll come back to me in the past. Even if I had to wait for another century for you, I won't regret it since I only want you, Lucias... That is what I've made up my mind on after you left 95 years ago. You're worth the wait, Lucias"

"... What if I didn't came back?"

"Then, I'll accept my fate and stay in this place for an eternity. But, I knew that you weren't the type to break your promises... You even stole the heart of two of my precious members behind my back. So I knew you would come back to take us"

"... You make it sound like I'm a scoundrel that seduces every woman I see"

"Isn't that the case?"

She asked in confusion, causing Lucias to look at her with a wry smile on his face, since he really couldn't refute her words.

"Even though you are a scoundrel, you're my scoundrel. I already know what I was getting in to before I even confessed my feelings to you, Lucias"

She said, causing a Lucias to chuckle as before showing a gentle smile. Placing his hand on her cheek before slowly moving his head closer to hers.

Mavis, who saw his actions, obediently closed her eyes as she felt his lips with hers.

[Absorbing the Curse of Contradiction]

The notification rang inside his mind,but ignored it as he invaded her soft mouth with his tongue, causing her to silently moan while her arms slowly wrapped themselves around his neck.

"Nmmn"

She moaned as she felt a spherical object form above Lucias' tongue, causing her to open her eyes in surprise as Lucias seperated himself from their kiss.

[Curse of Contradiction has been successfully absorbed]

The notification rang as Lucias grabbed the black sphere on his tongue, causing Mavis to look at it in interest.

"What's that?"

"It's your curse, I just condensed it using my mana into a physical object"

He said as he crushed the ball between his fingers to pieces before giving Mavis one last kiss on her lips, injecting his mana inside her body to pass a skill into her system.

"Does that mean I'm not immortal anymore?"

"Not entirely, since I gave you another curse of immortality similar to mine... If I didn't, your body will quickly grow older to match your true age. So, I had no choice but to plant another curse in your body.

"What kind of curse is it?"

"It just grant you immortality, that's all"

He said before looking at her with a slight concern visible in his eyes.

"You don't mind being immortal, right?"

He said causng Mavis to giggle as she gave him a short peck on his lips.

"It only means that we can be together for an eternity. I don't mind being immortal as long as you're with me"

She said causing Lucias to gently smile at her direction, before remembering his main objective on why he even came into this dimension. And that is to obtain the 3 runes that are currently implanted on her body.

Even he was surprised at first when he found out that this little girl was the holder of 3 runes. One that came from her mother, another came from her father, while the last one came from her ancestors. Since she was a suitable host, and the holder of her parents bloodline. The 2 runes chose her as their new holder, while the last one, which was originally dormant on her body, activated as soon as her body integrated with the 2 new runes. Playing a significant role in her growth both in power and in mind.

"Mavis... I need you to do me a favour"

"Mira-nee, what's wrong?"

Lisanna asked as she saw the distressed expression that her sister wore while looking upstairs in a daze.

"You do you love my dad?"

Erza who was silently sitting by her side a while ago asked, causing her to look at Erza in shock.

"H-He's married?"

"No, just engaged. But if you want him, don't mind that he is engaged. He already gave me a lot of moms, so two or more wouldn't really make any difference"

She said in a casual tone, causing both Mirajane and Lisanna to look at her with a weird smile on their faces.

"E-Exactly, how many moms do you have?"

"I don't know... but more than 50"

She said, causing both of them to look at the little girl in shock, due to her casual attitude in allowing more women to cover her dad.

"Y-You're not bothered by it?"

"No, my moms are all friendly with each other so I get a lot of gifts from them... and I get a lot of cute siblings so I don't mind"

She said as she took a bite from the cake in front of her, causing her to relax as a cute smile floated on her face. 

"S-So he doesn't mind having more lovers, huh?"

She whispered to herself before noticing Erza (older one) staring at the 2nd floor with a confused, yet nostalgic expression on her face, like she couldn't understand what she was feeling.

"Erza? What's wrong?"

She asked causing the red-haired girl to jolt as she looked at her own hands with a tinge of confusion in her eyes.

"... Nothing... I just feel... weird"

She said as the feeling of nostalgia and familiarity echoed inside her chest as soon as she saw Lucias' appearance, like she has long met her before, but couldn't remember when.

"You want or not?"

Erza (young) asked as she pulled Mirajane's hands, pointing at the direction where Lucias dissapeared to.

"I want"

Lisanna suddenly answered, causing Mirajane to look at her little sister in confusion.

"It's a good opportunity. I think you should consider it, Mira-nee. I know how much you admired him for the past 2 years... You even changed this much just for him"

Lisanna said with her arms on her waist as Lucias came back down on the 1st floor together with Mavis who was floating behind him.

"It's been so long since I last stepped out of that room. How refreshing"

She said with a bright smile on her face before noticing Erza who was silently eating at the corner of the room.

"I want to go play with Erza, I'll ask you about the runes later when we're alone"

She said, causing Lucias to wryly smile while looking at the translucent status board in front of him with a light grin on his face. Especially his new title and skills.

[Title: Embodiment of Virtue]

The title that gave him a large boost in his strength when doing virtuous deeds. It wasn't as strong as his other titles, but it could play a significant role since it permanently increases his status.

All of the skills that he had under the 7 virtues was erased from his status and all condensed into two skills that gave him absolute control over the magic under all of the Virtue category.

His authority over the domains under all categories has also changed. Like the skills, all of the domains under the Virtue category has condensed itself and gave him absolute authority over the [Domain of Virtue]. 

"I-It's been a while, Lucias-san"

Mirajane nervously said by his side while Lisanna stood behind her, not giving any room of escape while Erza (older) dazedly stared at his direction.

"It's been a while, I'm glad everything's fine on your side, Mirajane"

He said with a light smile on his face, as Erza(older) suddenly walked towards his direction.

"Have we met each other before?"

She asked causing Lucias to mysteriously smile as he suddenly held her hand with the mark of the golden cross.

"What are you-"

She tried to ask but was cut off as the familiar large golem suddenly appeared at her side. The same golem that protected her when she was a child, causing her to look at Lucias in shock.

"You've done well protecting her, Guardian Knight"

He said causing the giant golem to kneel down on its knees as it embedded its sword to the ground, like he was kneeling in front of his king.

"Wow!! It's huge!"

The pink-haired boy from before shouted in excitement as he, along with other guild members circled around the golem with curiosity in their eyes.

"Oy! Erza can I fight it?"

He asked, but recieved no response from Erza who stared at Lucias in surprise since she didn't expect that the golem came from none other than him.

"Who... are you?"

"Our relationship is a bit... complicated, Scarlet"

He said, calling her by her surname to avoid mixing up their names.

"Complicated?"

"It will take some time to explain"

He said looking at Mavis with a serious expression on his face.

"Mavis, what's your decision about our deal?"

He asked, causing Mavis to smile before whispering something to the short elderly man sitting on the counter.

"... Is that true?"

He asked in surprise before looking at Lucias with a serious expression on his face.

"Since the 1st master has already agreed then, I don't mind as long as you don't control any of our decisions, nor growth. Let carve our own path, then I'll accept your deal"

The elderly man said, causing the nearby guild members to look at them in confusion.

"It's a deal"

He said causing the elderly man to smile in response.

"I'll explain everything to them later, but for now... Try to get to know them better"

[Fairy Tail guild has joined the faction]

The notification rang, causing Lucias to smile before glancing at the pink-haired boy's direction.

"Hmm? What is it?"

"Nothing... I just need something inside your body"

"Eh?"

He muttered as Lucias suddenly grabbed her by the scarf and pulled him towards the second floor while he struggled to break free.
