Chapter 85: Project: Gamer

"Loki, what do you think you're doing"

One of the Valkyries asked while glaring at the God's direction.

"Why do we need to lower ourselves to ally with this creatures? This parasites that dares to spread their beliefs and religion on our lands"

He declared causing some of the representatives to frown from his haughty and arrogant tone while Lucias looked at him in amusement.

"How dare-"

The Valkyry with long silver hair said as she placed her hand on her weapon, causing Lucias to look at her direction before shaking his head, indicating for her to stop her actions.

"Loki, stop your nonsense this instance and return to Valhalla now, I will forgive you"

Odin said with a calm expression on his face while looking at his son in dissapointment.

"Forgive me? Don't joke around, Old Man"

Loki said with a sarcastic smile on his face causing the two Valkyries behind Odin to grit their teeth as they readied to attack Loki but was stopped by the two cloaked women who went together with Lucias inside the room.

"What are you-"

"No one will leave their seat, I'll handle this so that we can continue our conference"

Lucias stated before glancing at the Norse God flying above the table with an arrogant expression on his face.

"So Loki is it? I heard quite a few rumor about you in the past, but I didn't expect for you to be this reckless"

Lucias said in a casual tone while Asia just softly smiled by his side, silently observing the situation unfold.

"Hmph! If it isn't the infamous Lucias Frey, the deadliest parasite who spread his influence throughout the entire world. I admire you for your conquest. If only my father is like you, we would've be the one ordering the other factions to obey us"

"Hmm... I don't know if your cursing me or complimenting me, but judging from your expression, I guess it's the former"

Lucias said while tapping his finger on the table without a single change in his expression.

"Now then, it's quite rude to suddenly barge in our conference like this Loki, so I advised you to leave... before I throw you out of this room myself"

Lucias said with a light smile on his face causing Loki to grin before laughing maniacally in his place.

"That's quite a threat coming from you, Lucias Frey"

"A threat? Surely you jest"

Lucias said before smiling in amusement.

"It's a warning. I'm being considerate so don't push my limits, Norse God Loki, especially when you allied yourself with Khaos Brigade"

Lucias said causing most of the people in the table to frown.

"TRAITOR!!"

The Valkyries shouted in anger as they grabbed their weapons to attack, but froze as a powerful outburst of mana was pressed against their body, coming from the Norse God floating above the sky.

"Indeed, I have allied myself with them, but it is for the benefits of Asgard and my own will!!"

He said before summoning a large magic circle above the room, causing all of them to tke a stance out of caution while Loki floated above them with a large and confident smile on his face.

"Come forth, my beloved son!"

He shouted as a 10 meter wolf came out of the magic circle, looking at them with a menacing look on its face while its saliva slowly dripped down on the floor.

"Doggy?"

Kunuo muttered while looking at the large wolf with hidden desire hidden in her eyes, causing her to look up to his father who was watching everything unfold with a neutral expression on his face.

"Hmm? What is it Kunuo?"

He asked, seeing her look at him with a cute expression on her face.

"Kunuo wants that doggy"

She said causing his expression to soften before gently patting her head.

"Sure"

Lucias said with a gentle smile on his face causing the two cloaked women inside the room to wryly smile from hearing his declaration.

"Fenrir, kill them all"

He declared causing Fenrir to loudly roar before charging at the representatives in the table, but stopped as a powerful lightning strike stopped him from his strike.

"Ara Ara, that's no good"

One of the cloaked woman muttered while holding her cheek causing Baraqiel to widen his eyes from recognizing the soft voice that came from the cloaked woman.

"Shuri, Iris, I want you two to capture both of them alive"

Lucias ordered causing the two cloaked woman to nod their heads in response causing Baraqiel to look at him in shock from hearing the familiar name.

"S-Shuri?"

Baraqiel muttered before a loud crash echoed behind him, causing all of them to turn their heads, only to see Fenrir buried to the wall while a single large spear was imbedded on its body.

*ROARRRR*

Fenrir roared before charging at Iris with its mouth wide open, preparing to bite her with all of his strength.

"..."

Iris immediately grabbed its jaw open with her barehands before lifting it up in the air and smahing it against the ground, causing it to whimper in pain as Iris pulled the spear out of its body.

"I guess those hellish training paid off"

She muttered before stomping her foot on Fenrir's paw, causing it to whimper as it felt its own bone shatter into several pieces, limiting its ability to move as Iris pierced her spear on the rear foot of the mythical beast.

"What!?"

Loki shouted in shock as he watched his son get immobilized with little to no effort as thousands of golden chains suddenly engulfed his entire body, pulling him towards the ground as he felt his power slowly getting sucked by the golden chains surrounding him.

"[Chains of Heaven]"

Shuri muttered before walking towards Loki with a soft smile on her face.

"LET ME GO, WOMAN!!"

Loki shouted in anger as he struggled to break free from the chains before being lifted to the ground by Shuri.

"Great job, you two"

Lucias complimented as Iris brought Fenrir behind him while it's blood dripped on the cold floor of the conference room.

"Now, Kunuo stab it with this"

Lucias said as he gave a contract dagger to Kunuo who looked at him in confusion.

"It's like a injection so that it doesn't develop any rabis in the future"

Lucias said causing Kunuo to cutely nod her head in response before making her way towards Fenrir with the dagger in hand.

"Now then, whatever shall I do with you"

Lucias muttered with a large smile on his face as Shuri threw Loki's body close to his feet. 

"Hahaha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Do you really think that capturing me is enough to stop me!? Don't look down on me, Lucias Frey!!"

Loki shouted as dozens of magic circles similar to before suddenly sprouted from the floors of the room causing him to viciously smile.

"Behold my new army!! The army blessed to me by the True Goddess of Lust. The being that you can never compare to Lucias Frey!!!"

Loki shouted before laughing maniacally in his place, causing the representative to take out their respective weapons as they prepared themselves for another invasion.

"Oh no, how scary"

Lucias jokingly stated with a large grin on his face, causing Loki to look at him in confusion before looking around the room, finding that none of the Gastreas and Demons given to him by Xaosis ever came out of the magic circle.

"You're pretty stupid if you think that the same trick will happen to me twice, Loki"

Lucias said before snapping his finger, causing bright blue flames to appear behind him as a giant figure wearing a skull mask on his face appeared behind him, holding several severed heads in his hand.

"This is the so called "army" that you refer to, Loki-san"

Lucias said as Hassan threw the severed heads of several high ranking demons close to Loki's feet while Yasaka covered Kunuo's eyes to avoid making her witness such a bloody scene.

"H-How-"

"How did I do it? I told you, I already prepared if anything happens during the conference... Locating them and wiping them out is an easy task for my servants, Norse God Loki"

Lucias said with a gentle smile on his face causing Loki to shiver in fear as he looked at the severed heads around him in bewilderment.

"I'll be taking your son, Loki. I'll domesticate that dog of yours for my daughter so he wouldn't bite his owner in the future"

"Y-You-"

"Be proud, Loki. Since your son will be a pet of a demi-god, like how you've become a dog of Xaosis. How touching, like father like son"

Lucias said causing some of the representatives to secretly chuckle in their place as Loki gritted his teeth in anger and humiliation.

"You're powerful, Loki. But you're level of strength is quite common in my faction, so dealing with you is an easy task for my subordinates"

Lucias added before signalling for the remaining cloaked man behind him to step forward.

"Adam, bring this dog to Ains. Squeeze any information that you can get from him about our enemies... Also, get rid of Kokabiel, he has no use to us anymore... and make it as painful as possible"

"Alright"

Adam casually answered as he took off the cloak covering his body, revealing his toned figure to the crow as nothing but a single leaf covering his crotch was on his body.

"... How many times have I told you to wear clothes?"

"10... this morning"

Adam answered, ignoring the wry expression of Michael and Gabriel by the side, staring at Adam in disbelief.

"You really bring us a lot of surprises, Lucias-sama"

Michael muttered to himself, growing tired of being surprised of the surprises brought by Lucias everytime that they met.

"... Just go back... I sometimes question whether or not you and Eve are both natural born exhibitionist"

"That's just your imagination, Lucias-sama"

Adam cooly answered as he carried Loki's body like a sack before ripping a thin piece of paper with his mouth, causing a human-sized portal to appear in front of him connecting to the main headquarters of the faction.

"Hmm? What?"

Lucias asked as he noticed the bewilderment in the representatives eyes, before glancing at Baraqiel who was staring at the two women behind him with a hopeful expression on his face.

"... Shuri"

"Yes?"

Shuri answered as she followed Lucias' gaze.

"... Go ahead and talk with your husband"

Lucias said causing Shuri to happily smile as she quickly threw the cloak on her body, causing her long and soft black hair to fall down her body, wearing the uniform with the emblem of the Forsaken Faction sewed on the sleeves of the shirt.

"Thank you, Lucias-sama"

Shuri said as she casted a small teleportation spell on Baraqiel's body, who was staring at her in shock as tears welled up in the corner of his eyes.

"Shuri..."

He said before completely dissapearing along with Shuri from the conference room.

"You... I'll owe you one, Lucias-sama... you don't know how depressing he looks everyday ever since he lost his wife"

Governor said with a casual grin on his face while looking at Lucias' direction.

"Don't need it, I only fulfilled her long wish, Governor"

Lucias said before glacing at Iris who still covering her entire body with a cloak.

"... You called her Iris, correct?"

Sirzechs suddenly asked in a trembling voice as he looked at Iris direction with a nervous expression on his face.

"... Did I? I forgot"

Lucias said with a light smile on his face causing Iris to place her hand on his shoulder before slightly shaking her head to the side.

"Sirzechs at this moment is still unstable... He will surely chase after me once he finds out about my identity"

Iris whispered close to his ear.

"... Are you sure you don't want to tell him about your identity, Iris?"

"No... It will only cause chaos in the devil faction once my identity has been revealed"

Iris answered with a resolute expression on her face, causing Lucias to sigh before glancing at Sirzechs' direction.

"No need to be so flustered, Sirzechs. She is not the 'Iris' that you think of, they just share the same name that's all"

"... Then, will you please tell her to remove her cloak?"

"Why? How can you be so sure that she is the woman that you speak of?"

"... You were able to revive Baraqiel's deceased wife, isn't that enough evidence for my suspicion?"

"Sirzechs Lucifer, I'm not so free to revive your deceased wife. I only revived Shuri since the circumstances forced me to. When did I ever invaded your territory just to steal the corpse of your wife to revive her? And why would I ever revive her? That will bring little to no benefit to me"

Lucias said as he lied without a single change in his expression causing his words and statements to become extremely believable to the rest of the representatives around the table.

"... Please... Lucias-sama... Just this once..."

Sirzechs requested with a desperate expression on his face causing Lucias to frown as he glared at his direction with dissapointment visible in his eyes.

"This is a conference meeting, not a place for you to broadcast your obsession towards your deceased wife, Sirzechs Lucifer"

Lucias suddenly declared in a loud voice, but Sirzechs' expression didn't change as he stood resolute towards his request.

"Have some dignity, Sirzechs. You're already married so have some respect for your wife and stop wagging your tail towards a stranger that you only have met once... and believe me or not, she is not Iris Gremory that you speak of"

Lucias stated causing Sirzechs to slightly lower his head before glancing at Grayfia who only closed her eyes, not interfering nor defending him against Lucias' words.

"... Please forgive me... It seems like I've mistaken..."

Sirzechs said while clenching his hand into a fist on top of the table in front of him.

"Then, let's continue the conference from before... Since everyone has already agreed on the alliance, let's start with the 2nd topic for the meeting at hand"

Lucias said causing Sirzechs to sigh before continuing Lucias' words to start the second half of the conference.

"For the second topic of our conference, we will decide and talk about the preparations that we take for the remaining 3 months that we have before the actual war against the invaders"

Sirzechs said in a loud voice, as a pile of documents relating to their enemies were placed in front of them.

"I'm already aware that most of you must have noticed our enemies abilities and number. If you have any questions regarding our enemies, please raise your hand"

Sirzechs said causing the representative of humanity to raise his hand in response.

"We have already studied their capabilities, but I want to ask one question... How do we will them exactly? We weren't able to capture any sample due to their immense strength so we couldn't precisely study their nature and capabilities"

He asked causing all of them to nod their heads in understanding as none of them actually know how to kill any of the Gastreas and Demons. Even in the invasion a few days ago, they only were able to kill a 20% of their numbers due to the creature's incredible regeneration, but they never knew how they actually killed those creatures since most of them are by accident, or were killed by Zeus who launched a wide area of attack against their enemies.

"I'm glad you asked, the only way to kill a demon is by crushing, piercing, or destroying the third eye located at the middle of their foreheads. Most of them hide their third eye under a mask to protect them since that is the most vulnerable part of their body... or you can use death magic or a weapon imbudded by death to actually kill them not through their third eye, like the old man that all of you saw a few moments ago"

Lucias said causing some of them to frown as they knew far too well how hard it is to actually do what he says due to the incredible reflexes and power of each demon. The only method that they could actually take to stand a chance against them is by killing them at a distance.

"For the Gastreas... Normal weapons will not be able to hurt them at all. You need to use mana imbued weapons and aim at their vital spots to throughly kill them... or use a weapon with high vibration to kill them"

"... Isn't there any other way? Humanity won't stand a chance against those monsters if we had to kill them like you suggested"

He asked causing Lucias to smile in response.

"Didn't I tell you before? I'll supply humanity with enough weapons that can actually kill those beings... the only problem is well... honestly speaking humanity is far too weak right now and has little experience to actually use those weapons properly"

Lucias said causing the representatives to nod their heads in understanding.

"and... We have to do something about the greedy and lustful nature of humanity before I can actually give them the mana imbued weapons... or else they'll just kill each other due to their own greed and envy towards each other and I don't want that to happen"

Lucias added causing humanity's representative to meekly sit back down at his seat.

"So that's what were going to decide for this conference... We need to decide what will we do with humanity once the war breaks down because if they continue being like this... they'll only just drag us down along with them"

Lucias said in a loud voice while patting Kunuo's head.

"Shouldn't we just use them as meat shields? They'll pretty worthless themselves so I don't get why do we need to protect them"

One of the representatives said, causing Lucias to glare at his direction.

"I made a vow with a benefactor in the past to protect humanity and his creations from going extinct, so I will fulfill that vow as much as I can"

Lucias said causing Michael to widen his eyes as he quickly asked Lucias a question with a trembling voice.

"By benefactor... You don't mean-"

"Yes, the Biblical God that created both the heaven and earth along with everything that lives within it. He gave me power that allowed me to be this powerful"

Lucias said causing the Angels and Maous to look at him in shock as excitement suddenly filled the Angel's body.

"I-Is he-"

"He's dead if that's what you're trying to ask. He died before he gave me this power, and... I've tried to revive him in the past but he never responded to my calls... His soul dissected into pieces and not erased so it's possible to piece everything back together since the fragments of his conciousness remained in the remaining pieces present in the realm of death but... he never responded... that only means that he chose to stay in the realm of death"

Lucias said causing Michael to show a devastated expression on his face.

"Why 'remaining pieces'? Didn't you say that none of the fragments of his soul was erased?"

Gabriel asked causing Lucias to awkwardly scratch his head in response.

"... The missing pieces of his soul was integrated into my own... That's how he is able to give me his will despite dying before I was born"

"... Doesn't that mean..."

"... Yes, a part of me is the Biblical God that you all worship... I inherited none of his memories nor emotions, so that means that the only thing that I inherited from his soul was his will to protect his creations, and his last gift before being dissected into pieces"

Lucias said causing Michael and Gabriel to look at him with a resolute expression on their faces, firmly stating in their minds that they must convince him to take over heaven as his own.

"... Let's return back to the topic at hand. Any more ideas?"

Lucias asked causing all of the representatives to contemplate about their next actions.

"Is it possible to train them with enough strength to defend themselves in this war?"

One of the representatives asked out in curiosity.

"Honestly... No, 3 months isn't enough for them to grasp how to properly use mana... At least 5-6 months is enough for them to grasp the basics of mana manipulation"

Lucias answered causing all of them to frown as Zeus suddenly raised his hand to ask his own question.

"Then... what is your plan, Lucias-sama?"

He asked causing all of them to focus their attention to Lucias, waiting for him to answer Zeus' questions.

"Have any of you read the novels written by humanity about game systems? Or what do they call this... being 'isekaid'?"

Lucias suddenly asked, causing some of them to raise look at him on confusion.

"What about we create something like that? A system that will grant them ability to accumulate power and points, and bring them to a place that will force them to participate in this event"

Lucias suddenly said, causing the representative of humanity to widen his eyes in response, staring at him in bewilderment before raising his hand to ask a question.

"Can you please explain futher?"

He asked causing Lucias to grin before starting to explain his ideas to the representatives in front of him.

"All of humanity will be given their own individual system that can help them accumulate skills, powers, and abilities in the span of three months in this dimension, like an RPG game, but with their life on the line"

Lucias said before creating a projection of magic on top of the conference table to further describe his ideas and plan to the representatives.

"Humanity will be divided into groups, and all of them will be supervised by someone from my faction to properly aid them to use their ability. They will all undergo a tutorial first to test their current skills to gather information about their potential... and once that is decided, I will personally give them the class or job that suites them best from mage, gunner, warrior, to support"

Lucias explained while showing the skills and specs of each classes to the representatives around him.

"... And after they pass the tutorial... They will enter and live inside a 100 floor dungeon of 3 months... even though I said 3 months, the time ratio inside is 30:1... Meaning 1 day outside is one month inside of the dungeon so they'll stay in there for 12 years"

Lucias proposed before showing them the 100 floor dungeon that he conquered in the past when he saw was still level 300.

"And in those 12 years they will train their loyalty, teamwork, and leadership... If ever anyone of them abuses their power and takes advantage of other fellow participants they'll get eliminated... eliminated as in I'm going to kill them inside the dungeon if ever any of them breaks the rules and regulations that my subordinates will announce to them before they enter the tutorial"

Lucias said before showing a town inside one of the floors of the dungeon.

"This is the neutral zone located at the 2nd floor of the dungeon where they can buy, or sell items. Each floor will have a teleporter to instantly teleport them inside the neutral zone. Points is the main currency inside the dungeon and can only be obtained through individual achievements. If they kill a monster they get points... and the distribution of points will be decided by their level of contributions and points are untradable so everyone will be motivated to work for themselves to survive inside the dungeon"

Lucias added as the representative of humanity suddenly raised his hand to ask another question.

"... What will happen if we force or use our authority to make people spend those points and give those items?"

He asked causing Lucias to grin in response.

"Trading is strictly prohibited inside the dungeon, and each item has a fixed exchange rate so the only way to get weapons from others is to buy them with enough points that is in the same price as that in the store... and if they force anyone to trade or abuse their authority inside the dungeon... They get eliminated. I don't need pest that might betray me in the future so it's much better to get rid of them while it's still not too late"

"So... it's everyone for themselves, huh? Won't the people with disabilities, children, and the older citizens be at a disadvantage in this system?"

"No, everyone that falls under that category will recieve a weekly allowance that will allow them to have enough points to buy breakfast, lunch, and dinner... and the store has potions that can heal their disabilities or reverse their age... Every single item is present inside the shop of the neutral zone so all of them will receive equal chances"

"... What if they die?"

He suddenly asked causing Lucias to grin before showing a single scroll in the projection on top of them.

"Resurrection Scrolls, it will resurrect them at the time when they were still inside the neutral zone... but they will not retain any of their abilities or memories that they recieve during their dungeon exploration to lessen the burden that is placed on their soul everytime that they use it"

Lucias explained causing all of them to look at the projection in shock for witnessing such a powerful tool.

"But the scroll can only be used inside the dungeon since it was made specifically to work inside the dungeon to avoid accidently shattering the soul of its user. Other than those, they is no other side effects and this scroll will be available inside the shop of the neutral zone"

Lucias added causing some of the representatives to sigh in dissapointment due to the limitations placed on the item.

"The guides that I will place will judge their personalities and shape them as they see fit, in the span of 12 years, they will develop not only their skills but thwir the loyalty and trust to one another"

Lucias explained, ending his explanation of his ideas while the representatives contemplated about their decisions.

"... Won't it be difficult to create the 'system' that you speak of? I don't think any of the Gods, or even the True Gods of this dimension can do such a feat"

Odin asked causing Lucias to smile before snapping his finger, causing the projection to dissapear as he answered his questions.

"I'm the True God of both Creation and Destruction. Making a simple system like this is an easy task for me as long as I limit the range of its effects... and I already have a basis on where to start"

Lucias answered before he clapped his hand to gather all or their attention.

"What are your decisions? The system will not only be given to humanity but also the weaker members or beings of your faction that holds very little potential like humanity in terms of both combat and magic, but will only be restricted to them and not to anyone else even the gods themselves. What do you say?"

Lucias asked causing all of the representatives to remain silent before one representative raise his hand in response.

"I second that notion"

He stated causing the other to raise their hands as well to support Lucias' ideas.

"I'll agree"

"It's there only way of survival so theirs no choice"

"I'll also second that notion"

One by one all of the representatives raised their agreement on Lucias' ideas, leaving only the representative of humanity who was talking to his superiors on the phone.

"Then, as the representative of humanity... What is your decision?"

Lucias asked causing the representative to sigh as he slowly ended the call with his superiors.

"The United Nations, and several other presidents of each country has agreed with your idea, Lucias-sama"

He said causing Lucias to smile widely in response.

"Then I will hereby announce that the execution of the "Project: Gamer"... start two days from now. So prepare everyone in that time frame... since they'll need it"
