Chapter 56: Lilith

"Understood"

Yami said before using [stealth] to cloak her body as she jumped towards the dark alley of the laboratory holding the contract dagger in her right hand.

"Are you planning to rescue the Misaka Sisters?, ask Misaka while floating above her head, wondering about their intentions with the Misaka Sisters"

A soul of one of the dead Misaka Sisters asked as she floated above Valerie's head while hundreds of the same fragmented souls floated around her, asking endless questions, enough to break a normal person's mind within minutes of experiencing the same situation Valerie is now, but due to her [Mental Corruption], her mentality has been fortified several times in exchange for some of her emotions like anger, and sadness.

"Yes, we're planning to rescue them"

Valerie answered with a sweet smile towards one of the souls of the sisters, ignoring the hundreds of souls floating close to her.

"Thank you, says Misaka, thanking her for planning to save the remaining sister to avoid the same fate the Misakas have experienced"

"I will revive you girls after all of this are done so you can be with your sisters"

Valerie kindly said as she walked towards the dark alley where Yami entered from to look for a wild Misaka Sisters patrolling the area.

"Hmm... Where is she?"

Valerie asked herself while looking around the dark alley as a familiar monotonous voice echoed close to her ear.

"There is one just around the corner"

Yami whispered close to her ears while in stealth causing Valerie to walk towards the back of the laboratory.

"Who are you?, ask Misaka as Misaka found a girl suspiciously wandering close to the laboratory"

A monotonous voice of a familiar girl echo in her ears as soon as she entered the back alley of the laboratory.

There stood a girl with identical appearance to Misaka Mikoto from their facial features down to their clothes. The only things that separates them from Misaka is their seemingly lifeless eyes, staring at Valerie without any emotions contained within them.

"So you're one of the Misaka Sisters"

Valerie said while walking closer to the girl with a light smile on her face, casually ignoring the souls bombarding the girl.

"Yes, says Misaka, shocked about the suspicious girl knowing about the Misaka Sisters as Misaka tried to inform the other sisters"

One of the clones said as she tried to alert the other sisters about the girl in front of her, but Yami who was watching by the side used this opportunity when she was still vulnerable from trying to contact the sisters with the Misaka Network to stab the contract dagger directly on her back causing the clone to turn her head back and look at Yami with dead eyes before passing out as she fell on the ground.

[Misaka Sisters has joined the faction]

[Valerie Tepes has completed her quest]

[Mukuro Hoshimiya has completed her quest]

The string of notifications rang inside their heads, causing Valerie to immediately open her gate to transfer all of the 10,000 clones back to their base before looking at the large laboratory beside her.

"That was easy, isn't it Yami-San?"

"Mn"

Yami nodded her head in response before taking out the phone given to her by Mikoto to call them and inform them if the sisters were already saved.

"Time to clean up the mess~"

Valerie said while Yami contacted Mikoto, who was together with both Mukuro and Kuroka, waiting for their signal to destroy the laboratories around the academy city that is directly involved to the projects.

"Do it"

Yami said causing Mikoto on the other side of the call to smile as she stood in front of one of the laboratories while playfully holding a single arcade coin in her hand.

"Finally"

She muttered before flipping the arcade coin up in the air, forming a parallel circuit using both of her arms before flicking the coin with her finger, sending the coin towards the laboratory at 3 times the speed of sound, creating a massive hole on the foundations of the laboratory, causing it to collapse and fall down to the ground.

"Hmm... Not bad nya!"

"Muku shall do this herself, thee is more efficient than eliminating them one by one"

Mukuro muttered as she summoned her angel, Michael in her hands before flying above the sky to locate all the locations of the laboratories at once.

"Don't destroy the entire city nya"

Kuroka reminded before pushing Mikoto inside one of the portals she created connecting to the farthest part of the city.

"W-What..."

"Bye bye nya"

Kuroka waved her hand towards Mikoto who was caught off guard by her push before she disappeared from her place leaving Kuroka alone, watching Mukuro above the sky.

"Muku shall end this madness created by you humans, [Rātaibu]"

Mukuro caster as she unlocked the very fabric of space with her angel, opening several large wormholes below the laboratories around the city, pulling them all inside through the strong force of gravity surrounding the wormholes, gathering all the in one place before opening another wormhole above her to get rid of all the laboratories along with the humans involved in the project at ones.

"[Jerez]"

She casted causing the laboratories falling above the sky to disintegrate into nothingness as their molecular bonding broke down into pieces, scattering the atoms in the air.

"How smart of her"

Valerie muttered as she watched Mukuro disintegrate the laboratories all at once with ease along with Yami.

"She can't control what she can disintegrate so she might destroy the entire city... so she just gathered all of them in one location far from the city itself to avoid destroying it"

Valerie muttered causing Yami to look at her and ask a question that has always been bugging her.

"Where is Accelerator?"

"Let's just say that... I had a small gift for him"

Valerie said with a smile on her face, remembering how she left Accelerator inside a contained cell where the souls of the other sisters resides in as she gave her a small portion of her ability to see and hear the souls of the deceased using Sephiroth Graal.

"I wonder how long will he last until he breaks"

She muttered with a large grin on her face before Yami asked another question to her.

"What are the extent of her powers?"

She asked while standing behind Valerie while pointing at Mukuro above the sky.

"According to Tobiichi... if she unlocked the seals placed on her powers, she can disintegrate an entire country if she wanted to"

"..."

-with Lucias-

"... What the..."

Lucias said, dumfounded by the number of clones that suddenly appeared inside the ruby palace as Mukuro, Valerie, Kuroka, Yami, and 2 unfamiliar faces entered through a large gate where the sisters came from.

"I expected the clones but... I didn't expect that it that it will be this many"

Lucias muttered while observing the 10,000 clones aimlessly walk around the wide throne room of the castle along with Asia and Lily.

"Lucias nya!"

Kuroka shouted in joy as she pounced on Lucias, tightly hugging his body in an embrace while sniffing his scent with an intoxicated expression on her face.

"Kuroka, thank you for your hard work"

Lucias patted her head while supporting her body so she wouldn't fall on the ground.

"Lucias-san"

Valerie called with a wide smile on her face and eyes filled with anticipation as she walked closer to him along with Mukuro and the other two unfamiliar girls.

"Valerie... welcome back"

"... and?"

"And... what?"

Lucias asked in confusion without removing the smile on his face as he stared at Valerie's and Mukuro's smiling faces.

"... Is that all you have to say?"

"Uh..."

"Lucias, did you forget?"

Asia says as she pulled her shirt with a sweet smile as she gazed at the two of them.

"... Right now?"

"Why not?"

"... There's too man-"

Lucias tried to explain but was caught off guard by Valerie who suddenly pulled his collar and kissed him on his lips with flushed cheeks, surprising everyone especially the two girl who came with them because of her bold actions.

"You were saying?"

Valerie whispered close to his ears with a teasing smile while placing her finger on top of his lips

"... Fine, you win"

Lucias sighed before giving her a deep kiss on her soft lips while placing her arms on her back to pull her closer in his embrace, causing her to wrap her arms around her neck, fully enjoying his kiss.

"I love you, Valerie"

Lucias whispered with a gentle smile on his face causing Valerie to flush bright red from the sudden change in his actions.

"..."

"Hmm? What's wrong, Valerie?"

He teased, placing her forehead against hers, looking at her extremely flushed face, in contrast to her bold actions from before.

"I... love y...you too, Lucias"

Valerie shyly whispered as she buried her face on his chest.

"How about Muku?"

Mukuro who was watching at the side asked with anticipation visible on her eyes before pressing her soft breast on his right arm, looking up to him with upturned eyes.

"I love you too, Hoshimiya"

"Mn"

Mukuro happily smiled before giving him a kiss on his cheek.

"Ara Ara Ara a bold display of affection... It kind of makes me jealous"

The blond haired girl who came along with them  inside the base says with a smile on her face.

"... Well I think we should go back and not disturb their time together"

"But I want to stay~"

"I said we should go back"

The short brown hair girl angrily said as she pulled the blond haired girl back to the gate inside the room.

"Mikoto-san, Shokuhou-san, you can visit us as much as you like in the future... and thank you for taking care of us when we were still in your dimension"

Valerie waved her hand at them with a joyful smile on her face.

"I will"

Mikoto have them a thumbs up before waving her hand at them, dragging Shokuhou back to the gate.

"Me too~"

"Like hell I'll let you"

"You're no fun, Misaka-san"

Both of them bickered as they entered the gate before it disappeared inside the room.

Timeskip

"Sephie did you find them?"

Lucias asked as soon as Sephie entered his room where Kuroka, Valerie, and Mukuro were comfortably resting on his bed.

"We were successful in locating them but... we might cause some conflicts with the other factions in the process... are you willing to take this risk, Lucias?"

"It doesn't matter, I already have a lot of enemies anyway, adding another one won't hurt"

"... How lax"

Sephie wryly smiled at him before handing him the documents containing the location of Adam, Eve, and Lilith given by Nia.

"... So Lilith is in the hands of Hades, huh?"

"Yes... She is being used by Hades to create devils for himself..."

Sephie reported with a frown on her face, disgusted about the actions of Hades to make her give birth to the devils he used in his army.

"Tell me more about how he 'used' her, Sephie"

"... He uses her flesh and the book of Lucifer to create the artificial devils of his army... but the things is..."

"... He isn't an evil man to speak of but... an extreme idealist that hates the beings of other mythologies is it?"

Lucias continued her words without a single change in his expression, but Sephie knew that the situation is much more serious than it really is, since the factions is consisted of different beings of multiple mythologies so if Hades interferes with them... Lucias will definitely wage war against the underworld of Greek Mythology.

"I already know. Sephie, I think you already know what to do"

"Yes"

"I don't want to directly clash with him when he hasn't done anything yet to us... That is why..."

Lucias said before burning the paper on his hand with his flames before continuing his words.

"... I only want you to just retrieve Lilith, that's it..."

Lucias said before standing up on the bed to look outside the window, staring at the dragon slayers training on the wide land of the floor.

"...but if he insist in harming any of our members, eliminate him, so that we can remove a few eyesores in this dimension"
