Chapter 4: Arriving at Greenland

"Lucias-sama, what is your decision?"

Sephie asked inside of a conference room together with 10 Colonels for the small army that he brought along with him. 

Inside of a large military aircraft, made by the dwarves that could carry hundreds of thousands of passengers, mainly because the aircraft is connected to the dimensional gap.

Accompanied by a few dozen of ice dragons riders around them to protect it from any flying Gastreas as they moved towards Greenland.

"So they want to... cut off our supply lines to America?"

Lucias muttered with a serious expression on his face while looking at the world map spread throughout the table.

"... Are they planning on completely capturing North America? That's the only reason I could think of why they would do such a thing. The battle at the borders between Central and North America has been fierced. So cutting off the supply lines would dramatically weaken the army stationed there"

He muttered before placing his finger on the map with a serious expression on his face.

"The shortest supply line that North America have is from Europe... So if they successfully block all ships and aircraft carriers travelling throught the atlantic ocean and Greenland... they could possibly weaken the army at the border"

"But can't we just travel through the pacific?"

One of the Colonel in the conference room asked, causing Lucias to shake his head to the side.

"It takes days to deliver supplies to them through the pacific ocean... and it's not that safe since many Tier IV flying Gastreas are guarding the pacific ocean"

He muttered before pointing at pacific ocean near Japan.

"The main headquarters of the Faction is located in this area. Of course, they'll heavily guard that side. They can't risk getting attacked from three sides"

He said before glancing at Sephie who was recording everything that they were discussing about.

"Where's Nemo? Send him, Fal, and Queen to the Atlantic Ocean. I want them to capture and shut off all dimensional rifts around that area. We'll take care of the opposing army in Greenland"

He said causing Sephie to nod her head in response before immediately executing his orders. Leaving the room to contact the headquarters of the Faction.

"Reinforcements from the Russia and Norse Mythology will arrive 5 days from now. We'll try to chip down their camps one by one after we arrive, and we'll launch an all out attack at the dimensional rift once reinforcements arrive"

He said causing all of them to nod their heads in response before one of his major raised his hand. Making all of them to focus their attention towards him.

"How do we proceed with the battles?"

He asked causing Lucias to grin in response.

"We'll use guerrilla tactics to take care of their camps. We'll divide the army into groups, and all of them will be assigned to a specific location. We'll start at the camps located farthest from the dimension rift, and slowly make our way inwards. Don't waste too much supplies in confronting the camps since we won't get any supplies from the headquarters for a few days"

He said as Sephie re-entered the room with a serious expression on her face.

"We're here"

She said, causing Lucias to sigh before glancing at the beings around the table.

"Then, move and execute my orders! Gather all of your men, and scatter around the dimensional rift. There are a total of 20 camps scattered close to the dimensional rift, so proceed with caution"

"Hai!"

All of them saluted as the aircraft landed on the ground. Blowing tons of snow beneath it as the dragons landed in an ordered line behind it.

"Let's go"

"Welcome, Lucias-sama"

A general greeted with a respectful and polite expression on his face as Lucias entered the main camp. Making all of the soldiers of the camp to stand in line and respectful greet his arrival.

"Where's Anastasia and Yoshino?"

He asked one of the soldiers that followed him inside his tent. Sitting down on the wooden bed inside the tent as he took off his jacket.

"Anastasia-sama, and Yoshino-sama are currently on their way here, Lucias-sama"

He answered causing Lucias to nod his head in response.

"Then, you can leave. I'll call you when I need anything else"

He said causing the soldier to slightly bow his head before quietly leaving the tent. Leaving Lucias alone inside the tent.

"This place... is actually quite nice"

He muttered while looking around the simple tent with a light smile on his face before two familiar voices called his name from ouside the tent.

"Lucias"

Yoshino called out as she entered the tent with an excited and shy smile on her face. Running towards Lucias before she tightly wrapped her arms around his waist.

"It's been a long time, Yoshino"

He said with a light smile on his face as he watched her hug his waist with a cute smile on her face. Making them look like a father and daughter reuniting after a long time. Even though Yoshino, is much older than Lucias like the rest of the spirits.

"Lucias-kun, long time no see!"

Yoshinon said in a teasing voice while facing Lucias who wore a wry smile on his face.

"You're still as lively as ever"

He said as Anastasia silently sat down beside him with her doll in her arms. Leaning against his shoulder with slightly flushed cheeks.

"How have you two been? It's been 3 months since you were stationed here"

He said causing Anastasia to frown in response.

"Sexually frustrated-"

"What?"

"Nothing, I said we were fine. Everything is going great thanks to the help of Elmenhilde-san"

She said with a stoic expression on her face while facing Lucias, causing him to look at her with a weird expression on his face.

"How long will you be staying here?"

She asked as Lucias laid down on the wooden bed, while both Yoshino and Anastasia sat down beside him. Waiting for him to answer her question.

"I don't know... but I'll probably stay here for quite a while. The situation is quite stable now in Asia and Europe. We're almost finished in removing all dimensional rifts especially in Russia... Those guys have balls of steel since they directly launched an attack to the dimensional rift without any assistance. Thanks to that, Russia has been stable for the last year"

He said causing a flash of excitement to appear within both of the girl's eyes when they heard how long he is planning on staying here.

"That's great..."

Anastasia said with a mysterious smile on her face, causing Lucias to look at both of them in confusion.

"How's Nicholas? Is he eating properly?"

She asked. She deeply missed her 4 year old son with Lucias since she hasn't seen nor meet him for the last 3 months that she was here.

"He's fine, Bell and Raynare are taking care of the children back at home. So, don't worry"

He said as he gave her a short peck on her forehead, causing her to sigh in relief, but the sadness on her expression didn't dissapear.

"Do you miss him?"

"Of course I do, he's my son... I haven't seen him for so long, it's getting a bit lonely. I'm sure Yoshino also misses her daughter, right Yoshino?"

She said causing Yoshino to shyly nod her head in response. Remembering how much they had to negotiate and convince a few girls from Lucias' harem to agree with it. Just like what happened with Est. 

Since she and Est had a spiritual body that was made from pure mana. Valerie couldn't use her sacred gear on her to temporarily remove her immortality. Since the concept of age didn't even exist in their genetic makeup.

Some of the girls of his harem didn't understand why a few of the girls were against it, since they themselves had sexual activities with him while he was 9 - 11 years old. Far worst than what he did since Yoshino was a lot older than what she appears to be.

"Don't worry. This is probably be your last mission in Greenland. You'll get to see them once we're done here"

Lucias comforted with a light smile on his face.

"Tell me the situation of this place, Anastasia"

Lucias suddenly asked with a serious expression on his face.

"... Well... We didn't experience that much casualties but... out of the 20 camps. 10 of them are lead by a Marquis, 6 of them are lead by a Duke, 4 by an Archduke, and 1 King... There are a lot of rats in this country"

She stated, causing Lucias to look at her in surprise.

"There's a King here?"

He asked in surprise, causing Anastasia and Yoshino to nod their heads in response.

"... It looks like... we really are in a bit of trouble"

Lucias muttered with a grave expression on his face. Since the presence of a King rank demon entails that they are preparing to launch a large scale attack on the fort.

"Only Hassan and Jack are available right now... I can take care of the King, but the presence of 4 Archdukes might be a big problem for the army"

He muttered before he remembered the feature of his 'gift' that he haven't touched every since his reckless actions years ago. Making him grin in response.

"What did you promise me?"

The 'creator' asked from inside his head in a slightly angry tone, causing him to smile wryly in response.

'Just this once... I'm far more powerful now compared to the me when I started summoning servants... I also planned on summoning them all as what I planned years ago'

"You... fine but keep it in moderation, alright? Expect your harem's wrath once they find out about this"

She said in a helpless tone, deciding to give him a chance. 

'Thanks... I'll definitely will'

He said with a light smile on his face, causing both Yoshino and Anastasia to look at him in confusion. 

"Why are you smiling?"

Anastasia asked while poking his cheeks.

"Nothing, Its just that... something good happened. That's all"

"Something Good?"

"Yep, something good"

He said with a mysterious smile on his face without telling them what he was about to do later.

"It's getting a bit late so you two can-"

"We'll be staying here, Lucias"

Anastasia interrupted while pointing her finger down on the bed.

"... Sure..."

He said as Anastasia suddenly sat down on his hips. Making him look at her in confusion.

"What are you-"

"Aren't you... cold, Lucias?"

Anastasia suddenly asked, causing Yoshino to blush as she could guess what Anastasia was doing.

"No? I have tolerance agains-"

"Aren't you cold, Lucias?"

She asked once again, causing Lucias to look at her in confusion.

"... A bit"

He said causing Anastasia to smile before placing her dool to the side of the bed.

"Viy, can you please?"

She said causing the spirit behind her to freeze cloth of the tent solid, along with the entrance to mak sure that no one would enter the room.

"Then... we'll help you warm up for a bit"

She said while Lucias stared at her with a slight surprise in his eyes.

"It's all your fault, you made like this. You made me experience that kind of addicting sensation everyday 5 years ago... That's why... take responsibility for it"

She said causing Lucias to guiltily smile in response.

'Maybe... I did go a bit too far'

"We're finally here!!"

A mature woman with long crimson hair that reaches her hips, tied in a ponytail, shouted. Stretching her body as the cold wind of the snowstorm hit her skin.

"It's a bit cold in this place"

A beautiful young woman with violet eyes and long chestnut hair that is usually tied into twintails, said. Rubbing her hands together to keep herself warm.

"Is it alright for this woman to be with us? She didn't even inform her hus-"

"Ex-husband, please say it correctly, Xenovia-san"

A voluptuous and mature woman with long silver hair and eyes said as all of them jumped off the helicopter.

"I'm still surprised that Milicas calmly reacted to your divorce. I thought he would've cried to keep you and Sirzechs together"

"That's because... he has already met her real mother after all"

The silver-haired woman muttered while looking around their surroundings, causing Rias show a slightly uncomfortable expression on her face. 

Since Iris' revival wasn't cleared to Rias, Sirzechs, and Zeoticus. Rias found it hard to digest the thought of her nephew finding out about her mother's death. But couldn't comfort him as he was taken by Venelana to the Forsaken Faction years ago. Not giving them a chance to meet him again.

"Now... let's go find, Lucias"
