"You're here? I have two more dishes to prep, they will be ready soon. Go wash your hands in the main room," he said, before turning back to his kitchen duties.
"Big brother, go to the main room. I'll take these eggs to the kitchen," she said, taking the basket from her older brother's hands and heading into the kitchen, where she casually placed the basket on a table.
"What did you bring?" Ya Molian asked.
"How could I come here and eat for free, right? I just brought some wild eggs I gathered from the mountain. Consider it a bargain," Lin Caisang shrugged and explained, glancing around the room.
Ya Molian chuckled and glanced at the basket, "Quite a lot."
"Don't worry, I haven't taken all the eggs off the mountain. I leave some for hatching; there will still be game in the winter," she said with a raised eyebrow.
"Huh."
Ya Molian laughed again.
