Chapter 93: Inevitable Showdown

Angelie clarified to Minatsu that Sourei was only kidding. Minatsu frowned and returned to eating her Hamburg Steak. Sourei then touched Minatsu's hand. Minatsu in turn looked up at Sourei. While she made sure Angelie wasn't looking, Sourei smiled and winked at Minatsu. For some reason, Minatsu understood what Sourei was saying and smiled as well.

"Oh, my dear Angelie-san. I wasn't kidding at all. In fact, I think we should schedule you meeting my husband already."

Sourei smiled at Angelie.

"Um, there's no need for that Okaa-san—"

"Don't even bring him into this. You and Yuurei already have various made-up things in your minds. There's no reason for him to meet this good-for-nothing Saint."

Akuma slammed the table with his closed fist.

"Regardless of your 'official' status, there's nothing wrong with him meeting Angelie-san. At the very least, she's already a close family friend."

Sourei stared at Akuma.
