Chapter 177: Cleared Animosity

Sanaka and Kirei went to the rooftop and stood by the railings. They gazed at the setting sun for a while before Kirei finally spoke up.

"I'm really sorry for everything I said and did that time… Even though Angelie-san did her best to help me, I still felt bitterness towards her… And then I blamed her and you for everything that didn't go my way… I'm so selfish… I'm really sorry."

Kirei teared up as she continued to talk.

"I also said some things I shouldn't have… I'm sorry, too… It's just that I know those two and they are not doing anything on purpose to spite you. That is something I will not back down on."

Sanaka looked at Kirei beside her.

"Now that I have cleared my head of bad thoughts, I believe you whole-heartedly, Sanaka-san. But…"

Kirei paused as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"But I'm still not giving up on Akuma-kun!"

Kirei looked directly at Sanaka.

"If that's what you've decided on, I'll still support you, Kirei-san."
