Darius was rendered speechless while Aires didn't know how to break it to her.

"Do you have a problem with what I just said?" She demanded when they both looked at her like she had said something outrageous. "My life and death are in the hands of fate and not even I can control it. If there is a possibility that my fate could be altered, I should be the one with the exclusive right to do anything about it. Not you," she glanced at Aires and then at Darius. "And not you." 

"You are right." He admitted. 

He had changed his mind so fast she was nearly certain he had no intention to do as she said. He walked towards the door and she rushed after him to catch him before he could leave. "The only way I can trust your intentions is if you make a promise. This time, make it clear. No playing around with your words to leave a loophole."
