Chapter 65: The Will

[Tang Mansion, Kenny Hill]

“Is everything ready, Reginald?” Datin Tang asked, looking at him as he was sorting out some documents in the study.

When he nodded in reply, she said, “By the way, I asked Chloe not to come today. I told her I’ll be taking care of the old man.”

“That’s a smart move, Auntie Rosie,” Reginald replied.

“Jade is with him now. He should be conscious and ready to sign any time now. She’ll let us know. No rush.”

And just as he spoke, he received a text message from Jade.

“Okay, it’s now time for him to sign these documents,” he said, getting up from his desk to head upstairs.

When Reginald went into the room, the old man was sitting up with his bed inclined upward and barely able to speak. He only stared blankly at the wall.

He managed to speak to his granddaughter yesterday and hoped she would get his message out to the only one he trusted -- Bob. But so far, there was no sign of him.
