Chapter 63: Family Meeting, Part 2

When Bob arrived, the secretary, Mrs. Chin, quickly ushered him into the conference room.

Reginald, Jade, and his stepmother were already there having a discussion, while Ralph was sitting quietly by himself.

“Ah, you’re here. Take a seat and let’s get started, Bob,” Reginald said.

Ralph nodded, but neither Datin Tang nor Jade said a word, and Bob ignored them completely. He knew what to expect and was ready to face them. His demeanor made that very obvious, and Reginald noticed it only too clearly.

He took the seat directly opposite Reginald.

“You know why I’m here, Reggie.”

“Of course, Bob. But there are some issues we need to discuss first. This matter about Jackie…” Reginald said before he was cut off.

“You’re putting the cart before the horse. We should first determine if her necklace is the same one Grandpa is talking about. Why talk about the inheritance when this has not been resolved?” Bob interjected.
