Alfred knew he hadn't much time and was at the end of the line. Even though he had reached half saint realm due to humans limited lifespan he was at the end of his days. When he heard about the Divine Dragon formula he was determined to steal it so that other dragons don't practice it . But Alfred was completely exhausted from fighting and he couldn't even last a single hit from Tevor. He figured that whatever happens he will die today so he decided to sacrifice himself to take down Tevor with him and if possible steal/destroy the Divine Dragon formula.
Alfred had a ace in the hole technique that he himself created it was a self destructive move where in the user can get a temporary boost in power for a limited amount of time , the user could ignore a level and fight. But it comes at a great cost as it burns the soul to obtain power, once the soul gets burnt up then the person can never be reborn( he cannot enter the cycle of samsara).
Alfred had a powerful soul that could could give him about an hour of fighting power. Alfred sacrificed himself for the better future of the humankind.
As he operated the self destructive method Alfred laughed like a madman and this angered Tevor who decided to kill Alfred on the spot. But it was too late as Alfred had temporarily stepped into the saint realm that Tevor had always wanted.
Tevor was flabbergasted as the puny human had blocked his attack, but before his surprise ended he was blown away by a punch to his face by Alfred. A ten tonne monster was blown away by a small human, the dragons that had fled before witnessed this and had goosebumps. Tevor came back to his senses as he finally understood the situation , he was angry at himself for delaying in killing the damnable human who had now stepped into saint realm, but Tevor didn't know that this was temporary , he had thought that Alfred had broken through due to pressure from the battle. He knew that killing Alfred now will be an difficult task but before he could summon his guards to kill Alfred together ,the human initiated his attacks, Alfred was a human mage he bombarded Tevor with all kinds of spells. Even though Tevor was powerful naturally he couldn't single handedly deal with a saint realm master. Gritting his teeth the scarlet dragon fought to death, but after half an hour Tevor laid lifeless in the ground , the once majestic ruler of the dragons. He will be forgotton with time.
Alfred was not doing well either, he had only half an hour to live and he had to finish the task of stealing the DD formula. His powers started to wane and it became hard for him to even maintain his consciousness. The pain to the soul is the most unbearable, he managed to walk into Tevor's nest and retrived the divine dragon formula. He gave it a once over and found that it was somewhat familiar but due to the exhaustion of his soul he couldn't remember it well and even if he remembered it was useless to a dead man which he will soon be. He didn't want to die in a unknown place he wanted to be buried in his family graveyard alongside his ancestors. So he started the teleportation array, just as he was about to teleport he was attack by a barrage of fireballs.
The 5 elite class dragons that fled earlier were watching the entire fight between Tevor and the human , intially they too believed that the human had brokenthrough to saint realm but after Tevor dropped dead they found that the power of the human was also decreasing at a fast rate, the dragons deduced that the power he displayed was only temporary and greed replaced their fears. They knew that Tevor comprehended a unique cultivation technique and they wanted it but where powerless to steal it , but now they had the opportunity to obtain it they just have to kill the beaten up old human and retrieve it. But before they made their move the human had already began the teleportation incantation and they had to stop him at once to they decided to break the teleportation array.
The teleportation array setup by Alfred got damaged but it didn't stop him from activating as it was laid by a saint realm expert. But instead of teleporting him back to his clan he was teleported to a unknown world.
Due to exhaustion Alfred couldn't survey the surrounding for enemies and thus got ambushed by the dragons that fled earlier. But he was glad he escaped with the DD formula , that was important. But he soon realized that he was teleported to some other place, Even though he was at the brink of death he still could make sense of his surroundings due to his superior intellect.
The place he got teleported had very thin Mana and it looked beautiful, just as he was enjoying the moment he heard sounds he was too familiar with, the sound of war. Just some distance away from him was a battlefield, hundreds and thousands of humans were clashing with one another. Alfred was surprised to find humans like himself but they looked different(he was caucasian and those people were mongoloid). Also they dressed differently and they fought primitively with weapons, he couldn't find any warrior with strong Mana. But some warriors had small amount of Mana in their body and they were fighting more proficiently than others. Alfred didn't know that these people were Qi practioners and this was itself miraculous due to the severely deficient Mana/ Qi in the surrounding.
Alfred was at the verge of dying and he had nothing better to do , the war was also reaching its end. A large group of warriors fled from their enemies while some continued to fight till their last breath. The victors chased after the fleeing soldiers and the place became silent with only the wounded soldiers in their final moments lying on the blood stained battlefield.
Alfred was losing his interest and decided to move some where else because he knew he couldn't return to his own world in his current condition so he decided to find a quiet and serene place as his final resting place. His thoughts went back to how his family was holding on and the fate of the humans. He had done everything humanly possible to change the course of the humankind future.
Just as he was about to leave he could see a young man dragging himself towards his direction and he looked half dead and he was in his teens. Alfred felt sorry for the young boy being dragged into someone else war. But looking at the young man's eyes Alfred could see the determination to live , so much so that even the dying Alfred was moved. Alfred knew that he could help so he decided to do a final favor to a determined young man. He reached the young man in a few steps, to the eyes of the wounded young man the movement of the old person before him baffled him ,how could a person just cover 100's of meters in matter of few seconds. He thought that he was hallucinating but he was soon carried away by the old man to the nearby jungle.
Alfred decided to use his soul or whatever that is left of it to heal the young man who was dying. By doing so Alfred hastened his own death but he didn't care. By transferring his soul to the young man Alfred's body began to disintegrate. Alfred's soul fused with the young man's soul and it prevented him from dying but it used all of his stamina so he soon became unconscious, the last thing he saw was the old man turning into a streak of light.
