Spell Casting

The old man instructed Aos to go properly sleep before they begin their new lesson. Aos although excited understood the old man's instructions because although meditation now relieved her of fatigue it still couldn't compare to a proper nights rest.

The following morning Aos met up with the old man outside the wooden cave, but she had noticed that the constant snowfall of winter had finally broken, signaling the end of the harsh season.

With the clouds now parting, opening up the sky, it felt as if the very sky itself was heralding Aos' new lesson. Aos who now had learned to properly speak druidic, and not in a broken form now asked the old man, "(What will be my lesson today?)". The old man plainly responded with, "Today you will finally learn how to manipulate nature energy. Aos at the sound of this news couldn't help but grin cheerfully.

The old man began by demonstrating his lecture, "The very reason you learned how to speak druidic was to help give meaning behind the energy." the old man waved his hand in a single motion and several roots emerged from the ground wrapping around a nearby tree. "without the assistance of druidic, our ability is rather limited, but on the other hand with it the power can severely increase." the old man began a chant in druidic, "(ensnare thy enemy)" the old man followed the druidic with a fierce hand gesture. Following the movement, countless roots sprang from the ground with fatal force before completely surrounding the tree. Several audible cracking noises were permeating from the tree as it snapped beneath the crushing force.

Aos witnessing the sheer strength felt insignificant in front of the old man. The old man began explaining the process, "When you use the well of nature energy inside of you to empower the intent behind druidic, it can majorly alter the magnitude of the casting. Although, once practiced enough you can wordlessly imbue the same energy behind a motion." the old man once again fiercely made a hand gesture and another endless wave of roots sprang from the ground and similarly shattered the tree. "The final section of the tome of nature has the vast majority of spells I have learned over my long life. I have skipped some of the more barbaric spells that may impair your growth or even worse endanger your life. Those I'll reserve for once you're of an older age.

Aos excitedly flipped through the tome of nature to the first page of the third section, in which she found the chant that the old man had just preformed. She began to chant in anticipation, Aos filled each and every word with large amounts of the energy inside of her, "(ensnare thy enemy)" a single root snaked its way across the ground and coiled around a nearby tree. Aos, at the sight of her flimsy root couldn't help but feel down. It was a far call from the magnificent power the old man had shown.

The old man witnessing Aos' face droop from her spell, stated that, "Although you instilled it with a large portion of your current power it is still a rather meak amount. You must continue to train and meditate in order to increase the total energy capacity of your internal well of nature. Once the total energy inside you reaches a certain threshold it will condense. Increasing both the capacity and strength of each bit of energy. You probably already noticed but I have been stuck at one of these thresholds for a very long time. It is why you can sense energy throughout my body instead of purely in the internal well. You, are also quite close to breaking past your first threshold. So, keep training, and I can only imagine how strong you will become."

I tried to visually seperate fluent druidic from broken druidic by having them visually show the difference by segmentation of the sentence such that fluent is "(my friend, help me)" and broken looks way more basic and sectional like, "(friend)(help)(me)"
