After giving it a good shot, I cannot recommend this novel. It's quickly spiralled into 'Andrew Tate' energy. The main character is rude prick who demeans and devalues those around him.I respect the author for throwing his hat into the ring, writing a novel is hard, but reading is not supposed to leave a bad taste in your mouth. I don't see how anyone could root for the main character.Avoid this novel, save yourself the time.
This story started out quite good but it keeps having the same problem. Everytime something is supposed to be bad, there is needless r*pe, unrealistic and non-sensical trauma, or ntr / ntr-adjacent content. What was a decent premise and strong story telling is being dragged horribly down.I tried looking past it as having been on the platform for quite a long time I've gotten used to reading Chinese novels which are violently racist or likewise have one-tone r*pe characters, but this story and writer keep hitting you over the head with it over and over. Only getting worse arc after arc.As a side note, this novel has a worse take on homosexuals than most Chinese novels, a genuine feat.
In most civilized countries, nothing happens. As freedom of speech and freedom of expression are human rights in all the good parts of the world.
It's by no means bad, I've definitely read worse on Webnovel. The main issue I have with the novel is that the main character really got on my nerves... to the point that I had to stop. I couldn't get past chapter ~40. I still recommend you give it a shot, perhaps you get a different impression of the main character.
This story had/has great potential, that is undeniable. The story began amazingly only to fall into something I can only describe as an aimleww mess. I'd love to continue further in hopes of the story regaining its once great footing but due to it becoming a paid story, I cannot say it is currently worth the investment to read further. If someone does have insight on how the story progresses and if its worth to continue pay to continue reading, I'd be all ears. I really do like where the story was shaping up to be but currently I really feel like it fell from grace. Thanks for reading, this was just my two cents. Feel free to have your own opinion and I recommend you give the novel a shot, since I am no judge just an opinionated reader :)
it may sound similar but it predates the n word by over 100 years and most likely comes from old norse. Words may appear similar but in no way is it a racist slur
