The day continued as usual after the meeting Aliya did her routine check up.

And as usual all her patients were doing fine. After the checkup session she walked back to her office, her face was still as expressionless as ever.

She was about to make her way when she heard her name,

"Aliya" He make voice called her.

Hearing that annoying voice she didn't need to turn around to know who it is.

with a frustrated sigh she turned around and saw his smiling face.

The young gentleman had brown hair with good face features, but Aliya didn't notice that all she noticed was that annoying smile on his face.

Deon was beaming from a side his radiant face had big difference with the stoic expression from Aliya.

"What is it" She asked impatiently.

Deon twitched his mouth with displeasure but he quickly changed it to his oh so gorgeous smile that can make anyone around him smile too but it didn't seem to work on Aliya.

"tch.....couldn't you just pretend to be happy to see me" He pouted acting like a cute little kid who got denied of his favourite snack.

"Stop acting, we are not in the theatre" came her reply as sh e turned back and stepped into the elevator.

Deon just laughed in embarrassment and rubbed his neck shyly before stepping in with her.

Seeing that he was not going back she just sighed and let him be.

"You are a bad best friend, do you know that?" He said trying to start a conversation.

"You couldn't even ask how I was doing, or if I've eaten...tch, so mean" he said playfully but the ever serious Aliya took his words seriously.

"If you hadn't eaten then you won't be this energized and if you were not fine then you won't have come to work today, there was no need to ask" Came her serious reply.

Deon just stared at her with his mouth agape, this best friend of his was just too serious jeez. He was only joking but she took it seriously.

"I was only joking...hehe" he laughed nervously and then draped his arm around her shoulder which Aliya didn't seem to mind.

This was the scene Jade witnessed as the elevator door opened and she was left speechless not with the fact that someone was holding her boss, as it was normal to see her with Deon. It was the young man that made her speechless, he always has the effect on her no matter how many times she sees him.

"Hey Jade" Deon gave her his gorgeous smile and waved,but Jade was still dumbstruck and the only thing she could do was smile shyly.

She watched as her boss and the handsome young man walked into her office. and she sighed.

' dummy ' She thought to herself while hitting her head.

' ring '

the sound broke Jade out of her day dream and she picked up the call.

"She's in the office....Yes sir.... I'll inform her" and the call ended immediately.

Jade rushed into the office and then delivered the message.

"Boss you are needed for an immediate surgery right now"

Aliya first arched her brows and then she asked.

"Where are they?" She asked almost immediately

" They are in the lobby" with that being said Aliya picked up her coat and put it on with speed.

"I guess that's my clue" Deon said " I'll see you later" he said and then walked out of the office.

Jane just stared at his retreating and sighed like a 13 year old girl staring at her crush.

"Raymond and Kelly now" came her bosses voice that seem to awaken the daydreaming.

"Yes boss" she bowed her head and left.

Aliya took hurried footsteps towards the elevator and when she reached the lobby she halted in her footsteps when she saw the familiar faces, her legs were glued to the spot and she couldn't move.
