She wanted to ask him more about what exactly he had gone through, but he made it clear that he didn't want to discuss the matter even further. 

"Princess, let's find something for you to wear at the birthday party." 

He cast a strange look at the dress that had been brought in. 

"Are you sure you don't want me to wear this instead? I think I might attract a few looks." Daphne commented sarcastically. 

"I wouldn't mind if you put it on right now." He raised an eyebrow, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "In fact, I think I would quite like to see it. If you wear it for me, I can guarantee that you will attract my eyes." 

Daphne rolled her eyes. 

"Is it really fine if we defy the Grand Minister like this?" 

"He'll know that his daughter took it too far. He should have known better than to let her send this."

"What sort of woman is she?" 

"His daughter?"
