It was a difficult decision. While the White Witch had much more power and commanded more undead, the Bone Whistler was extremely intelligent. After all, Kies and Ammine experienced firsthand how well it was at commanding the lesser undead.
However, the safer option was probably to ally with the White Witch since it seemed like that the Bone Whistler was on the defensive because it didn't have the strength or numbers to compete with the White Witch. Plus, they had already offered to help the Bone Whistler but he had turned down their offer. If they were to offer to help it again, would he accept?
Kies and Ammine spend the next few minutes deciding on who to help when Haro interrupted them and said something troubling. "It appears that someone has found us and is approaching this place right now, and it doesn't appear that they're friendly either."
Kies and Ammine stopped talking and looked at Haro. "Isn't this place very well hidden?" Kies asked.
"I never said they found this place. I said that they found us," said Haro. "It seems that they either are very keen at detecting living things or magic and because of that, are able to find us."
"Where is this place's entrance anyway?" Ammine asked Haro. During the few minutes she spent searching the cave, she somehow still didn't find it despite how small it was.
"It's over there." Haro pointed at a wall with his wing.
Ammine walked over to the wall and tried knocking on it with her hand. Instead of feeling a solid object like she expected to, her hand went through the rock. "Hmm, interesting..." Ammine then proceeded to move the rest of the body through the illusionary wall and appeared out the other side. So that was why she couldn't find the exit despite how hard she looked. "How far away is the enemy?" Ammine asks Haro through the wall.
"With the speed that they are traveling at, around four minutes," Haro answered. "Hoot, I don't recommend you face them by yourself. If they can sense us from that far away, then they are quite powerful," he warned Ammine.
"I appreciate the warning, but I need to stretch my body after being trapped by that banshee for too long. My body is aching for a fight." With that, Ammine flew out of the cave, forgetting to ask which direction the enemy was coming from.
Kies walked over to the wall and exited the cave as well. "I think we should chase after her," he told Haro.
"I agree child, there is a very high possibility that whoever found us is a lackey of the witch."
"What makes you say that?"
"This cave is on the edge of the White Witch's territory," said Haro. "Nine of ten, the people that we encounter are going to be affiliated with her."
"Does it make a difference if they are?" Kies asked.
"It does child, those that serve the White Witch usually never travel alone," Haro explained. "Well enough talking, we best catch up with her before something terrible happens."

Ammine flew above the trees, not caring if she was spotted or ambushed by any undead that may be lurking under her. She was flying at half her normal speed since her body was still weak after regaining its soul. But that was pretty much expected considering that her body was 'dead' for several hours.
After about a minute of flying, Ammine stopped and landed on the branches of one of the thicker trees. Even though the tree was thicker than most of the others, the branches were still only about two inches wide. The branch almost snapped under her weight but it managed to hold. The branch was stronger than it looked.
Ammine scanned the place for where the enemy may be and found nothing. "Tch, so I did go in the wrong direction." She silently cursed to herself and turned back around to head back to the cave where the enemy would likely be by now when she heard the sound of branches snapping in the distance. It was quite far away but her ears were sensitive enough to hear it.
Ammine looked in the direction of where the noise came from and squinted. Branches continued to snap for the next few seconds but Ammine still couldn't see the enemy. Suddenly, the snapping stopped and Ammine heard a howl. A tall figure appeared from the dark trees and slowly walked towards Ammine. It had glowing yellow eyes and sharp claws. "Hmph, it looks like I didn't go in the wrong direction." Ammine stretched her body and jumped down from the tree.
