Chapter 13

~~~~~ EILIJAH'S POV ~~~~~

When Rou left the parking lot there was nothing else I could think of. When we hugged I dug my face in her neck and breathed in her wonderful scent. Its just amazing and she's so beautiful. My wolf begs me to take her, but I can't . We just met and I don't really know anything about her, nor does she about me ether.

I hopped into my car and drove home, mind linking Dylan to get Tylon my third in command so we can talk about the rouge that trespassed.

"So what exactly happened?" I asked Dylan and Tylon. Since they took care of the problem.

'A rouge trespassed our territory and was killed' Dylan confessed.

"By who?"

''We believe that it was by Chase Boyd, Rou's cousin''

"Why are you so sure?" I stated not jumping into conclusions.

'Because we found his wallet in the park, where the rouge was killed'

"Do you think that he might be the Shadow Daemon?"

''Maybe there is a possibility, the Shadow Daemon showed up the same time he came in town. And there is no way that its Rou''

"Speaking of which, she's not human"

'WHAT?!? What do you mean, not human?'

"Think about it, if she was human she couldn't possibly take down a wolf the way she took Angel down. When I reached to her and took her outside her eyes where red. I thought that it was just me at the time, but when Grace almost ran over her, her reflexes where fast. And her eyes turned a deeper shade of red with a tint of gold surrounding it. Also today she said I had a smell when our smell to humans is nothing, they can't smell us"

''So what do you think she is?'' Tylon asked with allot of curiosity.

"I don't know she might be a werewolf but I have never seen anything like that before. And in our books, it says nothing about it"

'She could be a lycan you know, even though nobody has seen them in years'

''She can't be a witch or a vampire ether''

My brother Colan mind linked me

*ELY THERE IS A ROUGE ATTACK IN OUR WEST SIDE OF THE BOUNDARY HURRY!!!!*

"Let's go, Dylan tell Megan to go with Rou I want her to be safe. There is a rouge attack and I don't want to take risks"  I stormed out to where Colan said they where. I mind linked the others to come and help.

I shifted to my wolf and rushed all the way over there. As soon as I got there I saw my brothers gray wolf. There where seven rouges and three where already dead.

My brother was by himself and the seven rouges where against them. I grabbed one by the neck and snapped it. Dylan and Tylon came just in time to help finish up the rest.

I was looking for my brother until I spotted him on the ground near a tree. He was badly injured and I needed to get him back home to the pack doctor.

'Eilijah this is Megan, Rou is badly injured and Chase is gone im taking her to the hospital' Those words made my heart crumble and it felt as if I got stabbed thousands of times on the chest.

"No Meagan bring her to the pack house, and take her to the pack doctor I'll meet you there" with that I rushed to the house.

I finally reached the house and the infirmary, I placed my brother in one of the beds.

'Alpha you must leave so we can treat him'  The pack doctor told me and I simply nodded.

I went outside of the infirmary and waited for Megan to bring Rou.

She finally arrived "How is she?"

'Bad, she lost allot of blood'  Her face was pale and lifeless her heart beat was weak and beginning to fade.

I grabbed her and made my way quickly inside.

"Doc hurry you must save her!" My eyes began to water and I felt so broken just by looking at her like that.

'Alright, place her on the bed gently, your brother is already healing he should wake up in a few hours'

I did as he said and I was not leaving her side.

"Eilijah you must let us do our job, you have to wait outside"  I nodded thinking it would be the best thing since I got would only get in the way.

I stepped outside with Megan, Dylan and Tylon. I kept pacing back and fort listening to her heart beat. It was slowly becoming weaker by the minute and it was fading.

I couldn't hear it anymore and I rushed inside my eyes already watering. All of me was broken an becoming dust.

"Where is she?!"

'We took the bullets out, she lost allot of blood. Im sorry but she's no longer with us'

"Where is she?!" I was pissed off now. Who ever did this I will take everything from them and kill them. Make their death slow and painful.

'Shes in the room to the left'  I made my way to her.

When I entered the room it felt as if I were dead. She was in the hospital gown. Her hair still as wild as she was, her skin was pale, but still beautiful as always. Her long black lashes, her lips where chapped. But still held her pink color. Her scent still as addicting, she was life less. I slowly and gently grabbed her and held her in my arms. I started to cry in her chest I could cry a river forever. I loved her and I just met her. My wolf was crying and whimpering inside because his mate, his soulmate has died. The worst part is that I did nothing to protect her I couldn't reach her in time. The moon goddess put her in my hands and she slipped away that second.

I was angry and the rage I felt was like nothing I've ever experienced. I was out for blood.

I left the building and let my wolf out destroying everything in my path. My wolf was angry I was going to stop at nothing to avenge her death.

~~~~~ IAN'S POV ~~~~~

I reached the house and opened the garage door. When I parked my car I got an alarm on my phone that someone trespassed. I got out of my car and went inside to go to the control room. I felt someone grab my shoulder, I turned and punched him in the face. It was a wolf. I kicked him and kept punching him until he fell back and when I was about to finish him something made contact with my head knocking me out.

~~~~~~~~MEGAN'S POV ~~~~~~~

Dylan mind linked me telling me to keep Rou safe. I ran to her as fast as I could. There was a car leaving her house at full speed when I reached it.

I was about to go after them but I smelled blood, and I knew exactly who it was that did this. Not just any blood it had Rou's scent all over it. I went to the door and saw her lying on the ground bleeding to death. She was unconscious and her heart beat was weakening.

I mind linked Eilijah and he told me to take her to the pack doctor.

When I got there I could see the pain in Eilijah's eyes. It was like the life was sucked right out of him. His eyes where watery ready to cry a whole river maybe even the whole sea.

He took her from me and went rushing inside.

I couldn't tell him right now who was responsible for this. He was to hurt, I should wait till he calms down.

He came back and was pacing back and forth with tears running down his face. It was then when I could feel tears running down my face.

Dylan, Tylon and I where just staring at each other. Our luna was dead, we just got her and she died as soon we did.

Eilijah went back inside running.

'Im going to track them down' Dylan said with anger in his voice.

"Don't bother I know who did it"  I said in a low voice. His head snapping back at me.

'Who was it?'

"Lets just say that if Eilijah finds out there will be a massacre"

They both looked with so much anger and hatred.

Eilijah came back outside and shifted destroying everything in his path. I knew that when he knew who did it there was going to be war.

"Dylan, you can't tell him until he calms down"

'I know don't worry I'll go and try and calm him down'  He shifted into his light brown wolf and chased after Eilijah.

I went inside the emergency room. There was Colan in one of the beds, already healing. He would wake up soon. The next thing I saw was her. She was so pale, I sat down right next to her and just touched her hair.

"Im so sorry Rou, I should have been faster. I didn't get there in time." I started sobbing and my voice was cracking. I took a deep breath and calmed down.

"You would have been a great luna, I liked you since the first day I met you. You sure taught Angel a lesson, god I hated that bitch, well I still do"

"Nobody will ever replace you" I got up and walked towards the door. When I heard a huge gasp, I looked back and could not believe my eyes.
