The council revealed that centuries ago, Arkanis's dark magic had been sealed away by a coalition of healers and mages. The seal, it seemed, was weakening.

The Council formed a secret task force to investigate the resurgence and tasked Elara with leading it. Alongside her were other skilled healers, each with unique talents.
