Final Preparations

"Should I come?" asked Nalini. Her forehead wrinkled slightly. 

Radmila nodded firmly. Without waiting for Nalini's approval, Radmila led Nalini into the main room of the Kaputren palace. 

"Sis, won't it bother you if I come?" Nalini whispered to Radmila. She was still worried that her presence would be unacceptable to the queen.

"No, Nalini. We usually chat and talk about light things. You can come with me. Once you ask her permission to go on an errand from the palace, in person. Aren't you still a servant in this palace?"

Radmila's reasoning was correct. Nalini should ask the queen's permission anyway. 

Nalini didn't ask many more questions. Her footsteps quickened following Radmila. 

The door to the main room opened. Some servants immediately came and invited Radmila to meet Queen Padma. 

Ratu Padma seemed to be waiting inside. As soon as she saw Radmila appear, she immediately got up from her seat. "Hi, Mila."
