Mission Success? - Part 2

Because they slept together they felt safe and sound, although Samuel was plagued by a few nightmares during the night and Ulma who was extra aware and worried for him woke up every time and calmed him down by gently brushing his hair and hugging him. Which calmed him down quick.

The night came to pass and they were both quite tired still when they woke up, but none of them needed to say anything to one another a silent agreement was cast to start the day. Samuel walked into the bathroom and decided to get himself cleaned up properly. He hadn't had the energy to do it the evening before.

Ulma walked in and filled the bathtub with warm water much to Samuel's surprise. "Let's take a bath!" She smiled at him. He nodded slowly thinking that it would actually be nice to get properly cleaned. Ulma smiled and took off her clothing and entered the bath followed by Samuel shortly thereafter.

He found himself quickly dragged backwards by Ulma who leaned towards the wall. She simply embraced him from behind and enjoyed hugging him, "Thanks!" He said as he felt her touch and relaxed backwards. He lay his head on her shoulder and gave her a kiss on her cheek, together they just took some time to relax and help clean eachother.

"What are your plans today?" She asked as she got out of the tub with a towel, Samuel smiled lightly, "I am going to train my ass off to keep me occupied!" He nonchalantly replied. Ulma nodded, "I intend to do the same!" She replied and spanked his ass which made him jump a bit to which she laughed.

They certainly had gotten to know eachothers kinks and weakspots. Samuel just shook his head with a smile, they quickly finished cleaning up and got dressed before they went downstairs. It was still quite early in the morning and they found all their mentors still asleep and Sonya still in her makeshift bed.

Samuel smiled seeing them all alright and walked over to Sonya's bed, he put his hand on her cheek and brushed it lightly. "Don't forget, we're here for you when you need us!" He whispered to the air and removed some of her long whitepinkish hair out of her face. He stood up from the bed before a hint of movement catched the corner of his eye.

He turned back around and saw Sonya looking at him with weak eyes as she slowly grabbed his hand. Ulma walked up quickly and took Samuel and Sonyas combined hand in her own hands. Sonya looked relieved and slowly closed her eyes again with a sigh.

She had fallen asleep again, but this was the first sign of her waking up. So they quietly left the house as to not wake anyone. Samuel was very happy to see Sonya's eyes open at him even if just for a few seconds, he was almost scared to see the dragon slits in her eyes. But they had gone back to normal, which left him with a relieved little smile plastered on his face as they walked off.

Together they quickly went to the canteen to buy something to eat. Just some tasteless sandwiches and drink, it went down and they continued their trip. Ulma led the way and they walked into the huge main building, "Where are we going exactly?" Samuel asked quickly.

"We are going to the grove, the magical forest.. remember? You wanted to train?" She gave him a sly smile and he raised his eyebrows. "Yes?" He replied, still quite confused as this was not the way to it at all. Eventually Ulma led him into a huge indoor garden.

It was filled with magical flowers and plants. She walked through this garden to a wall at the edge where trees were coiled around eachother almost creating a doorway. Ulma smiled at Samuel again before raising both hands, both her eyes started glowing white and she held out her hands. "Thula Bel Askara!" She chanted and suddenly the trees started rumbling and a small white vortex appeared inside the empty doorway.

Filling it with white light it quickly grew in size as the vortex attatched to the trees and stabilized itself. Ulma quickly exhaled and had to put her hands on her knees to support herself, Samuel had instinctively caught her as well, while still looking at the portal with his mouth open. "You... You can, open a gateway right there?"

"That is so amazing! You are amazing!" He gave her a wide grin and she couldn't help but blush slightly. "Thanks, I guess I am an amazing goddess!" She said nonchalantly before starting to laugh loudly. She took Samuels hand and quickly dragged him with her now that she had caught her breath.

He trusted her and simply allowed her to drag him through, and just like a portal it was like stepping from one place into another in an instant. He held his breath for a moment before letting the magical forests magic fill his lungs. He took his breaths of magic like his bloodline allowed him to do. A magical forest and a child of mana were very simillar in being children of the planet in a way.

The portal slowly closed as they had passed through it. "Well, I know the perfect grove to train in.. Follow me!" Ulma happily exclaimed and soon enough as if the forest felt her presence, several animals and creatures of nature assembled nearby. Samuel had never actually paid attention big attention to it before and it amazed him.

"You really are a goddess huh?" He exclaimed and received an annoyed pout from Ulma who proceeded to quickly kiss him. With Ulma leading the way it took them a few minutes to reach their destination.

Finally arriving at a huge grove that stood quite empty with a few pools of water, but most of it was an empty space with a tree in the middle. "The trees here have an ability to self repair if they take damage, thats why Triss told me to train offensive spells here. Because it wouldn't really hurt the forest. As you know I am a healer mainly, but to channel the forces of nature are quite important as well... destruction is a part of nature as well after all!"

Samuel smiled, "Well she is not wrong, I thankfully am not here to train a lot of offensive spells, but to train my control over my spells. Cancelling movements early and finetuning my control over mobility and strength put into them. To cancel a spell early and reignite it if needed." He started stretching some of his muscles.

They gave eachother a nod and started off with their own training exercises, for Samuel came a lot of basic strength training and stretching and cardio first. For Ulma it was actually a bit simillar, to strengthen her body so it could handle the vast power that hid inside.
