Reborn in Pokemon???!

Arthur ran down the stairs of his apartment, in a desperate attempt to save himself. He had got into a bad bind with a local Gang leader, who used to be an old friend of his, and now he was running from two hitmen intent on killing him.

"Stop, you bastard! You'll pay for fucking the boss's daughter!", yelled one of the two as they sped up trying to get to him faster than Arthur could get away. Luckily, Arthur was faster than them.

"No! Besides, I didn't do anything, she came onto me!", yelled Arthur in protest, jumping down the final few steps, and sprinting into the road, but the next second he didn't know what hit him, until he was sent spiraling thirty feet into the air.

"That's a lie you- oh. Well... that was easy. C'mon, Frank, let's go, we don't want to be accused of anything again, hurry up!", Spoke the first Hitman, and the one known as Frank turned to him, nodding.

"Right on your tail, Dutch.", responded Frank, and the two made quick haste in walking away from the situation.

Back with Arthur, he groaned in massive amounts of pain. His entire chest was caved in, and his right arm was scraped up to hell. There would be no saving him, and although he was upset at being accused of something he didn't instigate, he accepted his fate, and with a final breath, he died.

The many people that witnessed the tragedy had tried calling an ambulance, but it was too late, with which this news will cause great guilt for one particular young woman.

Arthur awoke, gasping for air. He didn't know what happened after, but for some strange, and scary reason, he didn't feel anything.

"Hello??! Is anyone here?", he yelled out in the darkness. Slowly, a light in the distance began to approach him, and after an agonizing hour of waiting, finally, he received an answer.

"Hello, young Soul. My name is Nubi, and I will be your judge for the day. First things first, you won't need those things here.", spoke a feminine voice, and suddenly, Arthur was stripped naked.

"AHHH!", Arthur yelled in embarrassment, trying to hide his rather impressive nine inches of length, which made the feminine being chuckle.

"Ah, mortals, the strange way you all get embarrassed when exposed to another being is quite humorous. But ah, seems we must carry on. Name, dear?", asked the feminine voice. Arthur trembled a little, but tentatively responded.

"A... Arthur Davidson, ma'am..?", he asked, and the voice giggled again, before suddenly, the light descended. When it landed, it revealed a gorgeous, and naked dark-skinned woman wearing Egyptian accents, as well as a pendent around her neck with a dog head, while holding two items. There was no mistaking who this was, although it was strange as it was a woman.

"I am Nubi, an alternate to your known Underworld God, Anubis. However, we share the same name, or nickname for him, as we are technically one and the same, just.. different. It's very nice to meet you, Arthur. Now, next on the agenda... your death.", she said, and sat down in front of him.

"Due to a situation you could not control, you were chased, and ultimately met your demise by a truck. You were wrongfully accused. I'm sorry you had to suffer such a thing. But, due to your good deeds in your life, you have earned enough karma to reincarnate! You may choose between any of these worlds, and after that, we will deal with special abilities afterwards.", she said, putting forth five different cards, with a unique and different art style for each one.

The choices laid out were in order from left to right:

1 - JoJo

2 - My Hero Academia

3 - Pokémon

4 - Naruto

5 - Tokyo Ghoul

Arthur was hesitant. He liked a lot of these worlds, but his favorite was coincidentally the 'safest' one. Granted, in real life, it'd be MUCH more dangerous, but in his opinion, it was perfect, and for three reason's only.

"Pokémon. That's the world I choose.", Arthur answered after a minute, which made Nubi grin with a knowing look. Arthur blushed in embarrassment, wondering if she could read his kind, but she didn't seem to have anything that pointed towards that yet.

"Wonderful! Now, as for abilities, you may choose Ten out of these.", she replied, and this time, over a thousand cards came floating in, surrounding Arthur.

'Ten??! That's a bit... overkill, don't you think?', he thought, but happily, he looked through the cards. There were those abilities that the Main Characters' of Anime's had, there were abilities that seemed even unknown to him, and finally, tiers of skills that everyone would use in life, but wouldn't excel. With this, he could.

And although this was very exciting, he calmed himself, reminding himself that he had to choose things relevant to the genre he'd be living in. He mentally tried selecting anything that was related to Pokemon first, and magically, only ten cards floated out of the mass.

Pokémon related Cards:

1 - Aura {1 - 20}: Skill level in ability, and how much it allows you to do using it. 1 being weakest, 20 being highest. Random roll.

2 - Aura Amplifier: A side ability that can be gained with excessive use of Aura, although it's extremely rare. High Tier

3 - Psychic {1 - 20}: Skill level in ability, and how much it allows you to use it. 1 being weakest, 20 being highest. Random roll.

4: Psychic Amplifier: A side ability that can be gained with excessive use of Aura, although it's extremely rare. High Tier

5: Stat Reader: Allows the user to see any Pokémon's IV's and growth potential. Can be paired with Aura or Psychic.

6: Random Egg: Grants user a random egg upon entering their Pokémon journey, ranging between Common and Mythic rarity.

7: Super Bag: Allows user a bag with a System like ability. Not advised to use if User has a System granted already.

8: ExP Boost: Depending on the day, you will get a random Experience boost when battling, or other things, based on Intent as well.

9: Pokéball's: {Between Normal and Master} - If Normal, gain +50 balls. If Master, +5 balls. (only these two balls are listed, the rest of the types can be gained on your Journey if you wish it)

10: The Harkness Test: An unknown System, user must find out for them selves if they wish to use it.

Arthur glanced at them all, and while he found that at least two, maybe three didn't suit him, he would definitely use most of these.

He chose Aura, Aura Amplifier, Stat Reader, Random Egg, ExP Boost, Pokéballs, and experimentally chose The Harkness Test. That left three more choices for him in total.

He waved the last three cards back to their origional positions, then glanced at the rest of the thousand cards, above him. Arthur smiled, reminiscing about something, and suddenly, three more cards floated back down in front of him.

It was three skills. The first was based on Mathematics, Sciences, English and Social Studies, and finally Physical studies. They were great skills in any world. The second was based on Cosmetology, cause he wanted to someday travel the stars, and maybe meet the legendary Pokemon that are attributed with the stars, moon, sky, etc.

The last was something that would be unusual to most, but it allowed him to acclimate quickly to almost any climate. Blistering Heats, would turn warm, and cool. Freezing Colds would become lukewarm, chilly, to enjoyable weather's like a picturesque Halloween. This would be very important if he was to catch and train every Pokemon he could.

"I've chosen my abilities. What now?", Arthur asked. Nubi smiled, being very impressed with his choice line up.

"Now, you will be reborn. I will drop you into a new location, and I think you'll be happy to recognize who your local Professor will be. Good luck, and I wish you a great new life~! Maybe even join me someday~.", She said, but mumbled the last part, which confused Arthur a bit.

He didn't have time to think about that however, as his vision brightened incredibly, which caused him to wince, until he fell unconscious.
