I woke up with an intense sensory overload, the sun beaming into my eyes, I shield my eyes with the heavy blanket on my bed, I notice the mess my room is and remember I played ninja with Choji, maybe it wasn't the best idea to play indoors…

'I'm going to have to clean this up aren't I, what a drag' I flinch internally at the earful I'm going to get from my mother.

'Better to clean it before she gets in here I guess.' I steel myself to clean the mess of a room, of course it took a good thirty minutes because of the sheer size of the mess.

There were clothes, a hamper turned upside down, toys, etc. the sun which was a nuisance a second ago was suddenly very refreshing as I replayed my favorite song in my head, relaxing and letting my body go on autopilot.

"Shika!"

I heard my mom shout my name from downstairs and was relieved that I cleaned quickly enough, I quickly remembered that today was the first day of the academy, I'm 4 so my intelligence and wisdom is questionable for my age, even taking into accountability my status as a Nara.

I remembered my fathers motto which was definitely him trying to make me more productive and it somewhat worked "it's much better to complete something quickly so you have more free-time to do other things."

those words changed my perspective on a lot of things because I used to stupidly draw things out if I didn't want to do them, but if I do it early then I don't have to worry about that.

That said, my dream is to be the worlds greatest ninja so I can protect those closest to me and have a laid back and relaxed retirement without worrying about a rogue ninja trying to assassinate me because of a stupid reason.

I walked down the ever-so-slightly creaking stairs with haste, excited to start my first day of school. I ate my food slowly and drank water about thirty minutes later to let my food digest completely.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face.

"Im leaving, see you later mom, dad."

I opened the door abruptly, stopping to admire the sight of Konoha.

Well, guess I'm walking. So annoying.
